Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may obtain, via broadcast signaling or UE-specific signaling, an indication of an uplink communications configuration for one or more uplink wireless communications that span a set of one or more transmission time intervals (TTIs). The indication may be based on one or more types of the one or more uplink wireless communications. The UE may determine a duration of time for which an uplink pre-compensation is to be applied to the one or more uplink wireless communications. The duration of time may be based on one or more parameters of the uplink communications configuration. The UE may output the one or more uplink wireless communications within the duration of time with the uplink pre-compensation applied.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support coexistence of broadcast communication protocols. In such cases, a first network node, such as a network entity, may broadcast a cell acquisition subframe (CAS) in accordance with a first broadcast communication protocol whose frequency resources overlap with frequency resources allocated in accordance with a second broadcast communication protocol. The CAS may indicate a modification to transmission of one or more subsequent CASs in accordance with the first broadcast communication protocol. For example, the modification may be a muting pattern, an updated periodicity, or both. As such, the first network node may broadcast, in accordance with the first broadcast communication protocol, the one or more subsequent CASs, wherein the one or more subsequent CASs are time division multiplexed with communications associated with the second broadcast communication protocol in accordance with the modification.

A wireless device may identify mapping pattern for mapping the transport blocks and repetitions of the transport blocks to communication resources. Mapping the transport blocks, or determining a mapping of the transport blocks, to communication resources may include partitioning the communication resources into subunits, where each subunit includes resources spread across each subband of a frequency hopping pattern and at least one instance of each of the scheduled transport blocks.

Abstract: Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) may establish uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) radio frame timing structures to efficiently account for propagation delay and propagation delay variation associated with communications in the NTN. NTNs may manage (synchronize) radio frame timing structures of base stations (e.g., satellites) and user equipment (UEs) in the NTN. Further, UEs may determine timing advance (TA) values to be applied to UL transmissions based on their respective scheduling offset (e.g., offset in UL and DL radio frame timing structures), as well as based on propagation delay or round trip time (RTT). As such, served UEs may determine UL timing such that UL transmissions from the UEs to a satellite arrives at the satellite in a time synchronized manner. In other cases, a satellite may determine UL timing, based on reception timing, such that various UEs in the NTN may implement uniform UL and DL radio frame timing structures.

Abstract: Wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message identifying a set of resources available for a plurality of UEs for transmission of feedback indications of multi-cast (or broadcast) transmission to the plurality of UEs, the set of resources comprising a plurality of subsets of resources, each subset of resources being associated with a corresponding channel metric for each UE of the plurality of UEs receiving the multi-cast transmission. The UE may determine that a feedback indication is to be provided in response to the multi-cast transmission. The UE may select, based at least in part on a channel metric of the UE, a first subset of the plurality of subsets of resources to use for transmitting a feedback message including the feedback indication. The UE may transmit the feedback message for the multi-cast transmission using resources within the selected first subset of resources.
