    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to indicate a single frequency network (SFN) mode and associated composite channel reference signals to a user equipment (UE). A UE and a base station may communicate via two or more transmission and reception points (TRPs) using an SFN transmission, which may represent a transmission having multiple beam configurations. The base station may transmit a configuration associated with a control channel that explicitly or implicitly indicates whether control channel transmissions are associated with an SFN mode or are configured with multiple candidate beam configurations. The base station may transmit an indication of activated beam configurations for the control channel. The UE may receive one or more reference signals from each TRP and, based on the SFN indication, may use information from the one or more reference signals to receive the control channel transmission.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to multi-transmission-reception point (multi-TRP) precoding matrix indication (PMI) operations are provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration indicating a precoder size parameter for a plurality of transmission-reception points (TRPs). The UE receives, from a first TRP of the plurality of TRPs, a first reference signal. The UE receives, from a second TRP of the plurality of TRPs, a second reference signal, the second TRP being different from first TRP. The UE transmits, to the first TRP or the second TRP, a channel state information (CSI) report including a first feedback component based on the first reference signal and a second feedback component based on the second reference signal, where a combined payload size of the first feedback component and the second feedback component is based on the precoder size parameter.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for transmitting sounding reference signal (SRS) resources with frequency hopping. In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may use different SRS ports, different antenna ports, different numbers and sizes of SRS resources, different periodicities, different offsets, different transmission comb values, different number of symbols, different power control parameters, and/or different transmission comb offset values for SRS transmissions on different frequency subbands of the frequency hopping pattern to ensure that sounding operations cover all antennas of the UE, cover the entire frequency range of interest, and provide sufficiently dense SRS transmissions from which a base station can determine the best channel for DL transmissions while also using a minimum amount of SRS resources and consuming minimal power in the UE.
