Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for service indication via downlink control information (DCI) in which different services have a same DCI size. Techniques provide also that a DCI format may be indicated by a masking operation on a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) of the DCI. The DCI may include an indicator field that may indicate the service of the associated operation. The indication may also be provided via different monitoring occasions of the DCI transmissions that are associated with different services. Different DCI search spaces also may be associated with different services and provide the service indication. Additionally or alternatively, different scrambling sequences used on all or a portion of control information or demodulation reference signal transmissions may be associated with different services.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for sidelink communications. In embodiments, a processor of a wireless device may determine signal strength information and priority information associated with a sidelink communication resource. The processor may determine coordination information based on the determined signal strength information and priority information. The processor may generate a message to include the determined coordination information. The processor may transmit the generated message including the determined coordination information to a second wireless device. In some embodiments, the generated message may be a control message, such as a medium access control control-element (MAC-CE) or a sidelink control information message.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a transmitter user equipment (UE) determines a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) pattern for a first slot allocated for transmission over a sidelink between the transmitter UE and a receiver UE, wherein the first DMRS pattern is determined based at least on the first slot having a first slot format of two or more slot formats, and transmits, to the receiver UE, DMRS in the first slot according to the first DMRS pattern. In an aspect, the receiver UE determines the first DMRS pattern for the first slot based at least on the first slot having the first slot format, and receives, from the transmitter UE, DMRS in the first slot according to the first DMRS pattern.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine at least one of a downlink path loss value or an uplink path loss value associated with a base station; receive system information, a semi-persistently configured grant via RRC or a dynamic uplink grant via DCI from the base station, wherein the RRC signaling or the dynamic uplink grant identifies a power control value associated with one user or a plurality of users associated with the base station; and determine a transmit power for a data or control transmission based at least in part on at least one of the downlink path loss value or the uplink path loss value and the power control value. An exemplary method generally includes determining a mother code size (N) for transmitting an encoded stream of bits based, at least in part, on a minimum supported code rate for transmitting the encoded stream of bits (Rmin), a control information size of the encoded stream of bits (K), a number of coded bits for transmission (E), and a maximum mother code size (Nmax), encoding a stream of bits using a polar code of size (N, K) and storing the encoded stream of bits in a circular buffer, and performing rate-matching on the stored encoded stream of bits based, at least in part, on a comparison among the mother code size (N), the control information size of the encoded stream of bits (K), and the number of coded bits for transmission (E).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink message via a sidelink transmission resource of a shared sidelink resource pool that is shared between a communications according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and communications according to a second RAT. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message corresponding to the sidelink message using a resource of the PSFCH occasion corresponding to a subchannel carrying sidelink control information of the sidelink message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications that support inter-user equipment (UE) coordination (IUC) for beamformed communications are described. A first UE may receive, using a first spatial filter, a first sidelink control message including a first sidelink resource reservation associated with a second UE. Additionally, or alternatively, the first UE may receive, using a second spatial filter, a second sidelink control message including a second sidelink resource reservation associated with a third UE. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE or the third UE, an IUC message that indicates a conflict between the first sidelink resource reservation and the second sidelink resource reservation. The IUC message that indicates a conflict may be based on a relationship between the first spatial filter used to receive the first sidelink resource reservation and the second spatial filter used to receive the second sidelink resource reservation.

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of frequency domain resources allocated to the UE for communicating data over a wireless channel. The UE may receive an indication of a waveform type associated with the set of frequency domain resources. The waveform type may be based at least in part on a data type of the data, may be used for a defined amount of time, and may be one of a plurality of waveform types that are multiplexed together over different frequency domain resources within a total system bandwidth. The UE may communicate within the set of frequency domain resources according to the indicated waveform type and the data type.

In some aspects, a method of wireless communication may include performing a full RSRP sweep for a first slot to determine a first resource exclusion RSRP threshold and performing the full RSRP sweep for a second slot that is a number of slots following the first slot to determine a second resource exclusion RSRP threshold. For each slot between the first slot and the second slot, the resource reevaluation may be performed based on the first resource exclusion RSRP threshold determined for the first slot.
