    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a chroma block prediction method and a device. The method includes: parsing a bitstream to obtain first indication information; downsampling a first luma block by a first filter when a value of the first indication information is a first value or by using a second filter when a value of the first indication information is a second value, to obtain a second luma block; obtaining a plurality of chroma samples and a plurality of luma samples; obtaining linear model coefficients based on the plurality of chroma samples and the plurality of luma samples; and obtaining a prediction value of the current chroma block based on the second luma block and the linear model coefficients.

    Abstract: A video picture prediction method and apparatus are provided, to provide a manner of determining a maximum length of a candidate motion vector list corresponding to a subblock merge mode. The method comprises: parsing a first indicator from a bitstream; if the first indicator indicates that a candidate mode used to inter predict the to-be-processed block comprises an affine mode, parsing a second indicator from the bitstream, where the second indicator is used to indicate a maximum length of a first candidate motion vector list, and the first candidate motion vector list is constructed for the to-be-processed block, a subblock merge prediction mode is used for the to-be-processed block; and determining the maximum length of the first candidate motion vector list based on the second indicator.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data processing method and system, and an electronic device. The method includes: Before an encoder encodes an image rendered by a graphics processing unit, the graphics processing unit obtains rendering information related to rendered image, compresses the rendering information, and transmits compressed rendering information. Then the encoder may perform encoding optimization based on the compressed rendering information in a process of encoding the rendered image. In this way, a data amount of the rendering information can be reduced, and a transmission delay of the rendering information can be reduced. In addition, the encoder performs encoding after receiving the rendering information. Therefore, in this embodiment of this application, duration of waiting for encoding by the encoder can be reduced, thereby reducing a transmission delay in an entire cloud rendering process.

    Abstract: A method includes parsing a transform coefficient of a transform block in a current coding unit to obtain a first transform coefficient matrix. The method also includes obtaining a quantity K of non-zero transform coefficients in a top-left preset region of the first transform coefficient matrix. The method also includes parsing an index value based on the quantity K being greater than a threshold. The method also includes determining a transform matrix based on the index value. The method also includes multiplying N transform coefficients of the first transform coefficient matrix by the transform matrix to obtain M transform coefficients. The method also includes updating the first transform coefficient matrix by using the M transform coefficients to obtain a second transform coefficient matrix. The method also includes performing an inverse transform on the second transform coefficient matrix to obtain residual samples of the current coding unit.
