    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An assistive node may include circuitry for operating in an amplifying mode and operating in a reflecting mode. The assistive node may transmit a message to a network entity indicating that the assistive node is capable of operating in an amplifying mode or a reflecting mode. The network entity may transmit scheduling information to the assistive node for a packet transmission to be reflected or amplified by the assistive node to a wireless device, for example, because a direct path between the network entity and the wireless device is blocked. The network entity may transmit control signaling to the assistive node configuring the assistive node to either reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device. The assistive node may reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device based on the control signaling.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a set of beamforming weights, each beamforming weight corresponding to a transmit beam of a set of transmit beams that may each include a same primary lobe and one or more different side lobes. The UE may then perform a beam training procedure to determine which transmit beams cause more or less interference at one or more nearby UEs. The UE may transmit signals using one or more of the transmit beams, and the nearby UEs may determine which transmit beams and corresponding beamforming weights cause more or less interference. The nearby UEs may then indicate those transmit beams or beamforming weights that cause more or less interference via different options.

A user equipment (UE) may indicate timing alignment factors in support of timing alignment adjustments by a base station or one or more transmission reception points (TRPs). Such timing adjustments may be in the context of cooperative beamforming and may relate to the timing with which the TRPs transmit respective instances of downlink transmissions to the UE. In some cases, the UE may report absolute timing alignment factors to support such timing alignment adjustments. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may report relative timing alignment factors, for example compared to signals received from a reference TRP, to support such timing alignment adjustments.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmission-adjusting wireless node may transmit a first communication via a sidelink channel. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may receive, from a feedback-reporting wireless node, transmission-specific information relating to at least one of a channel quality of the sidelink channel or a power level for the transmission-adjusting wireless node. The transmission-specific information may be based at least in part on the first communication. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may adjust, based at least in part on the transmission-specific information, a transmission property of the transmission-adjusting wireless node to obtain an adjusted transmission property.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for indication of asymmetric default operating frequencies (DOFs) for bidirectional communications. In one aspect, a first device may report to the second device that the first device is using either a same DOF for communications in different transmission directions or different DOFs for the different transmission directions. Based on the reported DOF(s), the second device may use beam correspondence-based beam relationships on the different transmission directions if the DOFs are the same and resource block allocations for the communications in both transmission directions are closely matched in frequencies. Alternatively, if the DOFs are different for the different transmission directions, the second device may adjust either a codebook parameter or may use an appropriate antenna panel. Additionally, or alternatively, the second device may direct the first device to use respective antenna subarrays with similar DOFs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a first user equipment (UE) within a coverage area of a base station may determine a power control configuration. The first UE may transmit an indication of the power control configuration to a second UE, which may adjust one or more power control parameters based on the indication. The one or more power control parameters may include a target received power, a compensation factor, a downlink path loss between the base station and the first UE, or a combination thereof. The second UE may use the adjusted one or more power control parameters to determine a transmit power and may transmit a message to the first UE with the determined transmit power. In some cases, the second UE may be outside of the coverage area of the base station.
