    Abstract: A reference signal transmission method includes: determining, at a network entity, a signal configuration of a transmission signal that comprises at least one decoding portion and at least one reference signal portion, where the signal configuration comprises a transmission schedule of the at least one decoding portion and the at least one reference signal portion, where each of the at least one decoding portion comprises decoding information to decode a corresponding one of the at least one reference signal portion, where each of the at least one decoding portion is scheduled in one or more first symbols and the corresponding one of the at least one reference signal portion is scheduled in one or more second symbols, and where none of the one or more first symbols is before any of the one or more second symbols; and transmitting, from the network entity, the transmission signal.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for downlink scheduling for increased orthogonal DMRS ports and PRB bundling size. The apparatus transmits DCI comprising an antenna value associated with a DMRS port mapping configuration. The DMRS port mapping configuration comprising orthogonal codes over a frequency domain and an orthogonal code sequence having a length (N) of orthogonal codes applied in the frequency domain. The orthogonal code sequence having a value of N>2. The apparatus transmits an indication comprising a DMRS port ID field associated with the DMRS port mapping configuration. At least one of the DMRS port ID field, the orthogonal code sequence, or the antenna value configured to identify a DMRS port.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a configuration that defines a first number of positioning measurement transmission beams, each positioning measurement transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE, and a second number of positioning discovery transmission beams, each positioning discovery transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE. The UE may transmit the positioning discovery transmission beams, then receive, from at least one other UE, feedback related to at least one of the positioning discovery transmission beams, and, based on that feedback, determine a subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams to be used for performing positioning measurements. The UE may perform the positioning measurements using the subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams.

    Abstract: Aspects are provided for switching flexible bandwidth parts (BWPs) according to one or more communication metrics or power metrics of one or more of a user equipment (UE) or a base station. In certain aspects, the UE may be configured to receive, from a base station, a command to switch from a first bandwidth part (BWP), wherein the first BWP is associated with a first bandwidth and a first slot format dedicated for the first BWP. In certain aspects, the UE may be configured to switch from the first BWP to a second BWP, wherein: the first bandwidth is switched to a second bandwidth, the first slot format is switched to a second slot format, or the first bandwidth is switched to the second bandwidth and the first slot format is switched to the second slot format.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for optimizing the reporting of Uu-RTT or SL-RTT measurements. The apparatus determines a RX-RS-TX-RS proximity parameter defining a proximity window around the RX-RS resource for receiving the RX-RS. The apparatus identifies a TX-RS resource of at least one TX-RS resource for transmitting TX-RS within a proximity window around a RX-RS resource for receiving RX-RS. An identified TX-RS resource being used by the UE for determining a UE RX-TX time difference associated with a time difference between reception of the RX-RS and transmission of the TX-RS. The apparatus measures the UE RX-TX time difference based on received RX-RS in the RX-RS resource and transmitted TX-RS in the identified TX-RS resource when TX-RS is transmitted in the identified TX-RS resource.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to configure other types of reference signals, such as reference signals configured for communications, for positioning measurements. In one aspect, a network entity, such as an LMF, transmits, to a plurality of base stations, a request for a capability report indicating at least one of whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to formulate an RS for communication as a PRS for a UE positioning session or whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to transmit a PRS dedicated for positioning for the UE positioning session. The network entity receives, from each of the plurality of base stations, the capability report. The network entity selects at least some of the plurality of base stations and a signal pattern configuration for the UE positioning session based on the capability report received from each of the plurality of base stations.

In some aspects, a first device may determine a first transmission between the first device and a second device, wherein the first device is a low power device associated with an energy harvesting capability. The first device may determine a second transmission between the first device and the second device, wherein the second transmission and the first transmission are separated by a quantity of symbols that satisfies a threshold value. The first device may perform an action on one or more of the first transmission or the second transmission based at least in part on a priority associated with the first transmission or the second transmission, a cost associated with the first transmission or the second transmission, or a battery status associated with the first device.
