摘要： Systems maintain synchronicity among elements intended to be displayed at various points during a live media stream. At a multimedia player, start playback of a live media stream. The systems receive input from a user selecting a new time of the media stream to playback, which is different than the current playback time of the media stream. The systems adjust playback of the media stream to restart at the new selected time, such that the current playback time of the output media stream is updated to the new selected time. The systems monitor the current playback time of the media stream as adjusted. The systems determine a user-initiated command to execute for displaying one or more visual elements at the multimedia player by polling a command manifest file based on the current playback time as adjusted.

An example apparatus includes for measurement of exposure to streaming media includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: access metadata identifying media presented to a user, and cookie data, the metadata and the cookie data provided by a client device; determine whether the cookie data identifies the user to a database proprietor; in response to a determination that the cookie data does not identify the user to the database proprietor, send a redirect message instructing the client device to retransmit the metadata to a next-hop location; and in response to a determination that the cookie data does identify the user to the database proprietor, provide the metadata and a user identifier to a central facility.

The system monitors the performance of a content provider, where the performance is based on the quality of service for receiving a media content item from the content provider. In response to determining that an adequate performance is not achievable, the system compares the performance of the content provider to the performance of a second content provider and provides, on the user device, the media content item from the second content provider.

A third user sends a combination collection presentation user input related to the first user input content item. In response, a combination collection presentation function is invoked to enable the third user to navigate the second public content collection.

The cloud queue may currently have a first access status that authorizes a first set of queue operations, which may include playback of the cloud queue. After receiving the request to initiate playback, the computing system may cause audio tracks of the cloud queue to be queued in a local queue of the media playback system such that the media playback system may playback audio tracks of the cloud queue via the local queue. The computing system may modify the access status of the cloud queue to a second access status. This second access status may authorize a second set of queue operations on the cloud queue. The computing system may cause access to the local queue to be restricted to the second set of queue operations.
