Abstract: A switching apparatus and a switching system are provided. Abstract: A plurality of connection members extend in a first direction perpendicular to a vertical direction. A plurality of terminal members are attached to the plurality of connection members, respectively. Each of the plurality of terminal members includes a fixed portion and a connected portion. The fixed portion is attached to a connection member and extends in the first direction. The connected portion is joined to one end portion of the fixed portion in a longitudinal direction, and an electric wire is connected to the connected portion. The connected portion extends in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the fixed portion extends. Each of the plurality of terminal members is attached to the connection member in any of a first attitude in which the connected portion extends upward in the vertical direction and a second attitude in which the connected portion extends downward in the vertical direction.

Abstract: A battery system for an electric vehicle includes a fixed cover, and a removable cover arranged over battery modules and a high voltage distribution system. The battery system includes a busbar arranged at least partially over a region of the battery modules and under the removable cover. The busbar includes a fixed section and a movable section, or a hinge, such that the busbar can be repositioned out of the way. The support tray includes a link between the fixed and movable sections. Floating fasteners, allowing at least one of radial float and axial float are used to secure the link to the support tray, thereby avoiding safety hazards and reducing the potential for short circuits in high voltage distribution systems or conductors thereof. The floating fasteners include a head, a neck, an engagement section, and a washer, which prevent removal from a component once installed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a busbar chamber arc-striking assembly, which includes a main frame forming a space configured to accommodate a busbar chamber sleeve, wherein the main frame includes a back plate, and the back plate is arranged on a side of the busbar chamber sleeve opposite to the busbar; and a first arc-striking plate which is parallel to and spaced apart from the back plate of the main frame, wherein the first arc-striking plate is installed to extend between adjacent busbar chamber sleeves. The busbar chamber arc-striking assembly according to the present invention can quickly strike the arc at the initial stage of arc generation, cut off the arc, reduce the arc energy, and ignite the arc itself until the arc is extinguished.

Abstract: A switching and/or distributing device has at least one receiving housing and a housing cover. Arranged in at least one housing rail region are one or a plurality of power distribution rails which extend substantially in a main plane and are connected to sub-distribution rails. In at least a first plane, said sub-distribution rails extend substantially in parallel to the main plane and are electrically insulated from one another and extend in the direction of at least one housing component region, wherein in the housing component region, in particular modular components, which contain electrical/electronic operating means, are in electrical contact with one sub-distribution rail each. As a result, a switching and/or distributing device is improved in such a way that the arrangement of corresponding components is possible easily without much additional effort even in potentially explosive atmospheres and a plurality of components of different ty pes and of different sizes can be arranged at the same time.
