Abstract: Various devices, systems, structures and methods are disclosed related to securely authorizing a transaction by synchronizing digital genomic data with associated synthetic genomic variants. An embodiment of the present invention utilizes digital genomic data associated with an entity, such as a person, who may utilize a genome-based security device to complete a transaction. In one embodiment, a person may use a genome-based security device to communicate with an external device over a wireless or other communication interface, synchronize digital genomic data and an associated synthetic variant received from the external device with digital genomic data and associated synthetic variant stored on the genome-based security device.

Abstract: A method for the secure interaction of a user with a mobile terminal and a further entity includes transmitting a secret or an image of the secret generated by a one-way function and an individual data from the user to a back-end, transmitting the image and the individual data from the back-end to a protected execution environment of a processor of the mobile terminal; notifying the user on a secure user interface of the mobile terminal, wherein the individual data is displayed to the user and wherein the user is authenticated with the secret, the user interacting with a secure element of the mobile terminal having a secure connection with the protected execution environment, via the secure user interface and the protected execution environment; and the secure element interacting with the further entity via a secured connection providing a complete security chain of all entities involved in the interaction.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system that may receive, from a user device associated with a user, authentication rule(s), each authentication rule associated with respective merchant(s) and comprising respective required authentication factor(s) for completing a transaction with the respective merchant(s). The system may receive, via the user device, authentication information associated with the user. The system may determine whether the authentication information satisfies the first required authentication factor(s). Responsive to making that determination, the system may enable the user to complete a transaction via the merchant webpage.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for authenticating a user of an intelligent electronic device (IED) using dual factor authentication is provided. The present disclosure provides for receiving user credentials at an IED, determining a user and a preferred mode of communication based on the user credentials, sending a code to the user via the preferred mode of communication and receiving the code entered at the IED. Upon matching the generated code to the received code, access is granted to features of the IED. Additionally, the present disclosure provides for receiving user credentials at a remote server, determining a user and a preferred mode of communication based on the user credentials, sending a code to the user via the preferred mode of communication, receiving the code entered at the remote server, and providing remote access via a network to an IED by authenticating a user remotely.

Abstract: A method comprises a portable device obtaining a graphical encoded information item which is displayed on a display of a computing apparatus, decoding the encoded information from the encoded information item, and transmitting a first message to first server apparatus, the first message including the decoded information and a first identifier identifying the device or a user of the device, wherein the decoded information includes an apparatus identification information item for allowing identification of the computing apparatus, and the first server apparatus receiving the first message from the device, establishing the identity of the user of the device, wherein establishing the identity of the user comprises using the first identifier to determine if the user is registered with the first server apparatus in response to establishing the identity of the user, authorising the user to access a service, and providing the service to the user via the computing apparatus using the apparatus identification information item or sending a second message to a second server apparatus, the second message including the apparatus identification information item and indicating that the user is authorised to access the service provided by the second server apparatus, the second server apparatus responding to receipt of the second message by providing the service to the user via the computing apparatus using the apparatus identification information item.

Abstract: An authority control system includes a biometric identification unit, a near field communication (NFC) signal transmission unit, and an NFC signal receiving unit. The biometric identification unit stores associated data, configured to obtain first biometric data, obtains encoded data according to the first biometric data and the associated data, and transmits the encoded data. The NFC signal transmission unit is configured to receive the encoded data transmitted by the biometric identification unit, and transmit the encoded data by using an NFC transmission technology. The NFC signal receiving unit stores authorization type comparison data. The NFC signal receiving unit is configured to receive the encoded data transmitted by the NFC signal transmission unit, and determines an authorization type according to the encoded data and the authorization type comparison data.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for verification of proximity to a kiosk, such as an ATM. The mobile application installed on a mobile device may be used to setup a prestaged transaction. When the mobile device is in the proximity to the kiosk to complete the prestaged transaction, a location of the mobile device may be verified using ambient sound recorded by a microphone of the mobile device. The ambient sound may be songs, tones, or ultrasonic sound played by a sound system near the kiosk. The recorded ambient sound may then be compared to expected audio from the sound system to determine whether the mobile device is in proximity to the kiosk.
