摘要: A passenger vehicle a vehicle body, a front door, and a rear door. The vehicle body comprises a forward base structure, a rearward base structure, and a floor structure extending between the forward base structure and the rearward base structure, which cooperatively define a passenger compartment and a continuous opening for a passenger to enter into and exit out of the passenger compartment. The front door is movable between a first closed position and a first open position. The rear door is movable between a second closed position and a second open position. When the front door is in the first closed position and the rear door is simultaneously in the second closed position, the continuous opening is closed cooperatively by the front door and the rear door.

The powered latch may be unlatched if an unlatch switch is actuated and the first and second sensors detect the presence of a user's hand.

摘要: A door handle assembly for a motor vehicle includes an operating handle, a coupling device, and a locking device which is moveably retained on a handle mounting. An acceleration force can move the assembly from a resting position in which an actuation of the operating handle is possible, in a first blocking direction in which an actuation of the assembly by the operating handle and/or the coupling device is blocked. The locking device can move from the resting position in a second blocking direction when acted on by an acceleration force, in which an actuation of the assembly via the operating handle and/or the coupling device is blocked, wherein the second blocking direction is in the opposite direction from the first blocking direction. Movement of the assembly is blocked by the operating handle, or the coupling device, even with alternating acceleration forces resulting from a crash.

The locking/closing mechanism is connected to the door release via at least one transmission element (8) between the door outer lining and the door inner lining. A locking element (1) between the door outer lining and the door inner lining acts on the transmission element (8) and inhibits the door release in the event of a side impact, The locking element (1) inhibits the operation of the transmission element (8) by blocking it as a result of pivoting of the locking element (1) in the event of a relative movement of the door outer lining in the direction of the door inner lining.

摘要: A latch assembly includes a chassis, a latch bolt movably mounted on the chassis and having a closed position for retaining a striker and an open position for releasing the striker, and a pawl having an engaged position at which the pawl is engaged with the latch bolt to hold the latch bolt in the closed position and a disengaged position at which the pawl is disengaged from the latch bolt thereby allowing the latch bolt to move to the open position. The pawl is rotatably mounted via a pawl pivot pin about a pawl axis, and the pawl pivot pin includes a first arcuate portion having a first radius about the pawl axis. A cross-sectional area of the pawl pivot pin, taken perpendicular to the pawl axis, is greater than an area of a circle having the first radius.
