摘要: Methods by which User Plane (UP) management information is exchanged between an Application Function (AF) supporting one or more applications and a Slice Management Function (SMF) configured to manage traffic flows in a given slice of the network. The exchange of UP management information may be initiated from either the AF or the SMF. In the case of AF-initiated information exchange, the UP management information provided by the AF may comprise traffic requirements of applications supported by the AF. In the case of SMF-initiated information exchange, the UP management information provided by the SM may comprise operator policy information or events, and the AF may respond with information of traffic requirements of applications supported by the AF.

摘要: A method and apparatus for establishing unsolicited block acknowledgements is provided. During a process, at a first wireless device, to associate with a basic service set that includes a second wireless communication device, the first wireless device transmits, via a controller and using a radio: an indication that the first wireless communication device supports block acknowledgements; and at least one common block acknowledgement parameter defining unsolicited block acknowledgement. Thereafter, the first wireless communication device exchanges data with the second wireless communication device according to the at least one common block acknowledgement parameter defining the unsolicited block acknowledgement.

摘要: A gateway-switching method includes: a control plane network element receives a switch request message; when determining, according to the switch request message, whether gateway switching is desired by user equipment (UE), the control plane network element allocates to the UE a UE Internet Protocol (IP) address corresponding to a target distributed gateway; the control plane network element sends to the target distributed gateway the UE IP address; and the control plane network element sends to a target base station the UE IP address, wherein the UE IP address is used by the target base station for sending data to the UE. Also provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a communication apparatus and non-transitory computer storage medium.

摘要: A method for providing location-based notifications on mobile devices is discussed. The method includes determining a first location of user's mobile device based on IP address, GPS signals, Wi-Fi signals, or cellular signals. The method includes accessing data, received by the mobile device responsive to communicating the first location to a server, indicating merchants in an area proximate to the first location. The method includes determining a second location of the mobile device based on other IP address, GPS signals, Wi-Fi signals, and/or cellular signals. The method includes communicating with the server to determine, based on the second location, that the mobile device has crossed into a geofence that includes at least one of the merchants. The method includes effecting, responsive to a determination that the mobile device crossed into the first geofence, a notification on the mobile device indicating at least one of the merchants at the geofence.
