摘要: The present invention disclosed a method of producing a three-dimensional porous tissue in-growth structure. The method includes the steps of depositing a first layer of metal powder and scanning the first layer of metal powder with a laser beam to form a portion of a plurality of predetermined unit cells. Depositing at least one additional layer of metal powder onto a previous layer and repeating the step of scanning a laser beam for at least one of the additional layers in order to continuing forming the predetermined unit cells. The method further includes continuing the depositing and scanning steps to form a medical implant.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a functionally graded composite material for a printed circuit board (PCB) is proposed. The method may include preparing two or more types of mixed powders with different contents of polymer or ceramic powder, each mixed powder comprising (i) a metal powder comprising a powder made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a powder of magnesium and (ii) the polymer or ceramic powder. The method may also include laminating the two or more types of mixed powders to form a functionally graded laminate in which a ratio of the content of the polymer or ceramic powder to the content of the metal powder in each of layers stacked in sequence from bottom to the top of the laminate differs. The method may further include preparing a functionally graded composite material by sintering the functionally graded laminate by pressureless sintering or spark plasma sintering.

摘要: In one aspect, methods of making freestanding metal matrix composite articles and alloy articles are described. A method of making a freestanding composite article described herein comprises disposing over a surface of the temporary substrate a layered assembly comprising a layer of infiltration metal or alloy and a hard particle layer formed of a flexible sheet comprising organic binder and the hard particles. The layered assembly is heated to infiltrate the hard particle layer with metal or alloy providing a metal matrix composite, and the metal matrix composite is separated from the temporary substrate. Further, a method of making a freestanding alloy article described herein comprises disposing over the surface of a temporary substrate a flexible sheet comprising organic binder and powder alloy and heating the sheet to provide a sintered alloy article. The sintered alloy article is then separated from the temporary substrate.

摘要: A polycrystalline diamond sintered material tool includes: a cemented carbide substrate, which is mainly composed of WC and includes Co; and a diamond layer containing a metal catalyst made of Co provided on the cemented carbide substrate. The average layer thickness of a Co rich layer formed in an interface between the cemented carbide substrate and the diamond layer is 30 μm or less. CMAX/CDIA is 2 or less when CDIA is an average content of Co included in the diamond layer and CMAX is a peak value of a Co content in the Co rich layer. D/DO is less than 2 when D is an average grain size of WC particles in a region from the interface between the cemented carbide substrate and the diamond layer to 50 μm toward an inside of the cemented carbide substrate; and DO is an average grain size of WC particles.

摘要: A substitution gold plating solution for performing uniform gold plating directly on copper wiring of a printed circuit board is provided and a gold plating method using the same is provided, the solution comprising a purine-based compound or a pyrimidine-based compound having a carbonyl oxygen used as a localized corrosion inhibitor, a water-soluble gold compound, an aminocarboxylic acid as a complexing agent, a dicarboxylic acid as a conductivity improving agent, an α-hydroxycarboxylic acid and heteroaryl carboxylic acid as a base metal elution and reprecipitation preventing agent, a sulfite compound as a gold ion stabilizer, an axole compound as a surface corrosion inhibitor, other surfactants, crystal regulators, pH adjuster, and buffers. The substitution-type electroless gold plating solution according to the present invention prevents the localized corrosion of the copper surface, which is the base metal, and thus the gold plating film produced is excellent in solder mounting reliability.

摘要: The disclosure describes assemblies, systems, and techniques for reinforcing complex geometries of pressure vessels using a pre-sintered preform (PSP) braze material that includes a low-melt powder and a high-melt powder. An example technique includes positioning a PSP reinforcement on a surface of a substrate. The technique includes heating the PSP reinforcement to soften or melt at least one constituent metal or alloy of the low-melt powder. During heating, the PSP reinforcement is configured to conform to a contour of the surface of the substrate. The technique also includes cooling the PSP reinforcement to define a reinforced component.
