摘要: A generator enclosure system provides for tool-less removal of protective panels. The panels are configured to lock in place and unlock by a technician using only their hands. Side panels interlock with front and back panels. At least the front panel may be removed by actuating, by hand, a lever on a locking mechanism and lifting the panels up and away from the generator enclosure system.

摘要: A hydraulic fracturing system for fracturing a subterranean formation is disclosed. In an embodiment, the system can include a plurality of electric pumps fluidly connected to a well associated with the subterranean formation and powered by at least one electric motor, and configured to pump fluid into a wellbore associated with the well at a high pressure; at least one generator electrically coupled to the plurality of electric pumps so as to generate electricity for use by the plurality of electric pumps; a gas compression system fluidly coupled to the at least one generator so as to provide fuel for use by the at least one generator; and a combustible fuel vaporization system gaseously coupled to the gas compression system so as to provide at least one of vaporized fuel or gasified fuel, or a combination thereof, to the gas compression system.

摘要: There are described methods and systems for synchronizing at least two generators for an engine. A first generator is mechanically coupled to the engine. A power source is connected in parallel to the first generator and to a second generator, the second generator mechanically uncoupled from the engine, the power source connected across a same respective phase of a stator in the first generator and the second generator. Power from the power source is applied to the first generator and the second generator to align a respective rotor to the respective phase in each generator and cause the first generator and the second generator to be in-phase. The second generator is then mechanically coupled to the engine.

摘要: A battery management system is configured to, in an island mode, cause a frequency adjustment (e.g., by 3 Hz) to voltage in the power system based on a state of charge. The frequency adjustment signals assets (e.g., loads, generators, energy storage devices) electrically coupled to a battery system to reduce or increase power. If the state of charge is below a threshold value, the frequency adjustment may signal a load to be decreased, power generation of a generator to be increased, or power output of an energy storage device to be increased. If the state of charge is above a threshold value, the frequency adjustment may signal a load to be maintained or increased, power generation of a generator to be decreased, or power output of an energy storage device to be decreased. The frequency adjustment may be calculated automatically as a function of the state of charge.

A controller supported by the rotor or configured to perform a phase analysis of the trigger signal and the output of the generator and calculate a power angle for the generator based on the phase analysis.

摘要: A dual engine generator has two engines and two inverters and two alternators configured within an inner enclosure. An outer enclosure extends around the inner enclosure to create plenums for airflow. Cooling airflow enters through the outer cover and flows through the plenums and into the inner enclosure to cool the components therein. Airflows out of the inner enclosure and into the plenums and finally exhausts from the outer enclosure. The outer enclosure may have rounded sides to form a pill shaped enclosure. The outer covers are configured to deflect or flex in high wind condition and protect the inner enclosure. The engines are configured above the alternator and inverter and a flow of air reduces heat from the engines from overheating the other components. The mufflers are within the plenums and a flow of exhaust air from within the inner enclosure is directed over the mufflers.
