Abstract:
Disclosed are an image monitoring device capable of detecting a meaningful event on the basis of a scenario by providing a function of setting various combinations of monitoring events in a monitored image in which a plurality of monitoring events are set, and an event detecting method thereof. The event detecting method of an image monitoring device includes: obtaining a monitored image; detecting an occurrence of a first monitoring event with respect to an object from the obtained monitored image; detecting an occurrence of a second monitoring event with respect to the object from the obtained monitored image; and storing information regarding the detected occurrence of the second monitoring event.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods, systems, apparatuses, circuits and associated computer executable code for providing video based subject characterization, categorization, identification and/or presence response. According to some embodiments, there is provided a system including a video acquisition module, a video analytics module to extract subject features and a subject presence response module adapted to generate a response to an identification of a specific subject or group of subjects.
Abstract:
A method for verification of alarms is disclosed. The method involves receiving an alarm signal trigger associated with an alarm signal, receiving video data from a premise associated with the alarm signal, rapidly analyzing the video data to test for the existence a significant event, and when a significant event exists, sending a representation of a segment of interest of the video data, the segment of interest being associated with the significant event, to a user.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a display, processor(s), and memory displays a video monitoring user interface including a video feed from a camera located remotely from the client device in a first region and an event timeline in a second region, the event timeline including event indicators for motion events previously detected by the camera. The electronic device detects a user input selecting a portion of the event timeline, where the selected portion of the event timeline includes a subset of the event indicators. In response to the user input, the electronic device causes generation of a time-lapse video clip of the selected portion of the event timeline. The electronic device displays the time-lapse video clip, where motion events corresponding to the subset of the event indicators are played at a slower speed than the remainder of the selected portion of the event timeline.
Abstract:
A video surveillance system 1 having an input device 6. The input device includes an analysis device 12 for evaluating images of a surveillance scene from a surveillance region 5, that have been recorded by a surveillance camera 3 A user 7 is represented and/or can be represented on the images, and the analysis device 12 and/or the input device 6 are/is designed for generating user object data 14, based on the images 13 with the user 7 and/or the input device 6. The input device is embodied as a mobile device 6 for the configuration of the video surveillance system 1 by the user 7 on the basis of or using the user object data 14.
Abstract:
A system for covertly activating an alarm comprising: at least one processor; at least one covert 3D sensor; and computer executable instructions readable by the at least one processor and operative to: use the at least one covert 3D sensor in conjunction with gesture recognition software to sense at least one covert gesture made by at least one person in a space; and covertly trigger an alarm based on the at least one covert gesture.
Abstract:
System, method, and computer program product are provided for using real-time video analysis to provide the user of mobile devices with security, no matter the user's location. Through the use of real-time vision object recognition objects, logos, artwork, products, locations, and other features that can be recognized in the real-time video stream and frequented locations of the user can be established. In this way, a baseline layout of the frequented location is determined, such that the objects and individuals typically in the frequented area are recognized. The system may continue to take real-time video images of the frequented location, such that if a variation in the baseline layout occurs, the change may be alerted. In this way, a security compromise, such as a break-in to a user's home may be detected by the system and thus the system may notify the user or the appropriate authorities.
Abstract:
A video surveillance system is set up, calibrated, tasked, and operated. The system extracts video primitives and extracts event occurrences from the video primitives using event discriminators. The system can undertake a response, such as an alarm, based on extracted event occurrences.
