摘要: A method and system are set forth for leveling a vehicle chassis supported on air springs. The system and method include a position switch at each air spring which is adapted to generate a signal when the spring is compressed to or beyond a desired length representing the desired level for the vehicle chassis. Based upon the duration of the signal over a time interval a duty cycle for the spring is established. If the duty cycle is below a desired valve or range of valves this indicates the chassis is too high and the system incrementally deflates the spring. If the duty cycle is above the desired valve or range of valves this indicates the chassis is too low and the spring is incremetally deflated. Accordingly, leveling can take place when the vehicle is in motion.

摘要: A position and motion transducer is described comprising means for providing a permanent magnetic field adjacent an appropriately oriented toroidal transformer, which can be either an isolation transformer or an autotransformer. The means for providing a permanent magnetic field, in an especially useful embodiment is a permanent magnet cobalt disk magnet with its surface pole facing generally radially in the plane of the torus or generally perpendicular the axis thereof. Appropriate excitation of one winding of the toroidal transformer enables readout equipment connected with the other winding to indicate the position and movement of the magnet relative the toroid. Appropriate mounting of the magnet enables various measurands to be indicated. For example, mounting the magnet on or for movement with a diaphragm enables fluid pressures applied thereto to be measured while mounting the magnet on a spring support force plate or piston/cylinder enables the force or weight applied thereto to be measured.

摘要: A balance beam adjustable for a desired liquid level in a reservoir is under the control of a device responsive to pressure head in a main leading from, and reflecting the liquid level in, the reservoir, the beam being in charge of a pump control for one or more pumps for activating the pumps when required when the liquid level drops in the reservoir, whereby to substantially maintain the liquid level. A timer-operated anti-stagnation or anti-icing control device is provided in association with the beam.

摘要: An adjustment device for a splicing display screen includes: a housing including housing walls and an accommodating cavity, the housing walls including first, second, third and fourth housing walls; a piston member including a piston and a piston rod, wherein the piston is slidably connected in the accommodating cavity, a through hole is provided in the fourth housing wall, and the piston rod is slidably connected in the through hole; an elastic pressing portion in the first housing wall, serving as a part of the first housing wall; and a hydraulic sensor in the accommodating cavity. The accommodating cavity is filled with hydraulic fluid, an inner surface of the elastic pressing portion contacts the hydraulic fluid, and the piston member is configured to be driven by the hydraulic fluid to move in an extending direction of the through hole in response to a pressure applied on the elastic pressing portion.

摘要: The present invention concerns a method of adjusting (taring), or re-calibrating respectively of an apparatus comprising a previously pressurized liquid-filled flexible tube, such as used in the steering mechanism of vehicles (steering wheel, handlebar) for detecting panic reactions by the driver and for activating safety measures, or for detecting the presence of a person sitting on the seat of an automobile and e.g. for measuring the weight of that person and for accordingly adapting the safety measures.According to the present invention, in determining the differential between the external pressure exerted by a person onto the flexible tube and the pressure prevailing in the previously pressurized tube, the variations of the pressure in the previously pressurized tube caused by variations of one or more variable ambient parameters (such as e.g. the temperature and/or the barometric air pressure) are taken into accountOwing to these measures the measuring system functions with the previously pressurized flexible tube exactly, and independent of any variations occurring in ambient conditions prevailing in the vehicle.

摘要: Objects to be inventoried are positioned on a series of platforms for weighing. Each platform, which may be a storage shelf, is supported on a piston operating in a fluid pressure cylinder, either hydraulic or pneumatic. On signal from a computer-controller, fluid is pumped through a common conduit into all cylinders simultaneously, steadily increasing the pressure on each cylinder piston. When the pressure reaches the point of balancing the combined weight of any one platform and the objects resting thereon, a signal is generated to report that balancing pressure value to the computer, at the same time causing the corresponding cylinder to be deactivated. Pumping of fluid continues until all platforms in the system have registered balancing pressure values into the computer. With data stored previously in its memory bank, the computer combines the reported pressure values with unit weights of stored objects, piston diameters, tare weights or weigh calibrations to calculate, store, display and/or print out an accurate count of the objects on each platform.

摘要: A hydraulic bellow type scale comprises a scale body, a plurality of hydraulic bellows, a variable capacitor, an integrated circuit and a display unit. By means of the pressure in the hydraulic bellow, the weight of an object on a pan of the scale body is transmitted in terms of force for the variable capacitor to translate into a capacitance signal. The capacitance signal is further calculated by the integrated circuit. The weight and price thus calculated are displayed by the display unit.
