    摘要: A shelf system has a shelf component and a support frame component configured to removably support the shelf component in a cantilever fashion in an assembled state of the shelf system. The shelf component has a top surface, a bottom surface, a front end, a rear end, opposite sides between the front and rear ends, and a longitudinal groove formed in the bottom surface between the opposite sides. The support frame component is formed of a base panel having a front side, a rear side, a top end, a bottom end and opposite lateral sides between the top and bottom ends. A pair of support members extend from the front side of the support frame component for supporting a cross member. The longitudinal groove of the shelf component is configured to engage the cross member of the support frame component in the assembled state of the shelf system.

    摘要: A connector system for mechanically connecting two structural elements to each other, consisting of a connector element and mating grooves in each structural element. The connector element is comprised of a base plate having a split-tongue element at each side or end of said base plate. Each joined element has a mating groove formed into its connector-receiving surface. The mating groove is designed to allow fabrication via four sequential circular saw cuts, without loss of saleable decorative surface, and at a rate consistent with economical commercial production of vinyl, laminate, or hardwood flooring. The connector element is readily extruded in a variety of polymers, including PVC. The connector and mating grooves interact so as to generate a force component acting to forcibly draw the connector into the mating grooves. The connector system operation is relatively insensitive to geometric deviations associated with normal manufacturing methods.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a display board having at least one hollow panel, which has a rear surface and a front surface; the hollow panel has a ridge along at least one edge of the hollow panel and includes a channel that is interlockable with a ridge of a second panel. An embodiment of the display board can include a plurality of interlocking panels releasably attached to each other. In this embodiment, each of the plurality of interlocking panels includes a joint engaging member along at least one of its edges for interlocking it to another interlocking panel. Another embodiment of the display board includes a blow-molded panel having a ship-lapped groove on at least one of its edges. The ship-lapped groove of the blow-molded panel is configured to interlock with a ship-lapped groove of another panel. A further embodiment of the display board includes a plurality of separable sections. Each of the separable sections includes an interlocking mechanism and a rail along at least one edge of a face of the separable section.

    摘要: A deck clip comprises a generally vertically extending leg; and a pair of arms extending from an upper edge of the leg. Each arm is configured for insertion into a slot of a deck board and presents an enlarged lobe. When the deck clip is screwed to a deck joist, the lobes grip the deck boards and hold them tight against the joist. The shape of the lobes increases the gripping force between the lobes and the deck boards as adjacent boards are hammered or otherwise pushed together. The lobes facilitate the gripping of the boards and help maintain the desired gap between adjacent boards for the life of the deck.
