摘要: There is provided a button-operated lock device capable of increasing a setting amount of information in response to operation of a control button, obtaining a large setting amount and a wide-range of selection thereof, enhancing safety performance, simplifying the structure and achieving a small size and a light-weight, thereby achieving a low manufacturing cost, executing such various operations as setting or inputting information and altering thereof correctly, safely, easily and rationally, and preventing decoding or perceiving of preset or inputted information so that any third party is prevented from making a falsification and/or conversion of this device. The button-operated lock comprises a plurality of control buttons (10) axially displacedly arranged and capable of setting or inputting a predetermined information; a control plate (128) for allowing an unlocking procedure at the time of setting or imputing the predetermined information; a driving cam (16) linked to the control plate (128) and capable of being operatively connected to a pair of door handles (4, 5); and a lock element linked to the driving cam (16), wherein a plurality of same or different information can be set or inputted to each of the control buttons (10) and the plurality of same or different information can be set or inputted every time the control button (10) is operated.

摘要: What is disclosed herein is an identification apparatus and method comprising an array of retractable pins in association with a housing attached to a base component through which each pin individually passes. The apparatus is attached to a primary device and in communication therewith. Each retractable pin is in individual physical contact with spring tension means positioned below the pin and located in a containment sleeve within the housing. Each spring continuously exerts pressure on the base of their respective pins so as to push the pin up through the base component. At the base of each spring is a pressure sensitive pad in communication with the primary device. A set of shaped identifiers is also disclosed each having a plurality of holes through which respective pins on the array of retractable pins pass and each identifier uniquely configured with at least one distinct location containing a plug or nullcapnull fitted therein which blocks the passage therethrough of that particular pin thereby forcing said pin to retract into the base component's housing underneath and exerting pressure on the pin's associated spring. Means for alignment and orientation are also disclosed. Once one or more identifiers have been fitted onto the array of retractable pins, the primary device thereafter identifies the placed identifiers by each identifier's plug location and by the amount of pressure exerted by each spring's pressure sensitive pad. Once individual identifiers are known, the primary device can subsequently perform certain functions or other desired operations based on the type, configuration, and/or number of identifiers placed thereon.

摘要: An improved tamper resistant combination lock with large planar easy to shift blocking slides with spring fingers that fool the lock picker into believing all three positions of the slides are blocking positions, rather than passing positions. The slides block or pass spaced spheroidal obstructions on a plunger. A small bifurcated clip prevents the complete removal of the plunger when all blocking slides are in the pass position. In one embodiment the lock is a padlock-type with a "U" shaped shackle that lies in a common plane with the slides to reduce lock size.

摘要: A locking apparatus that includes first and second structural elements that are adapted to be juxtaposed and positioned next to one another in a "locked" mode, and physically separated from one another when "unlocked." When in its locked mode, the locking apparatus is restrained against separation until a manual force is simultaneously applied to appropriate levers, ends of which are accessible on the exterior of the apparatus.A plurality of levers are mounted on the first of the two structural elements for rocking movement about a pivotal axis carried by the first element. Each lever has a first end that protrudes externally of the apparatus, and a second end that is sized and shaped so that it may be engaged with a lip surrounding an associated aperture in the second structural element. A biasing device is provided for continuously biasing each of the levers to a centered rest position, where at least one of the levers will be in an overlapping or interfering position with respect to the adjacent lip of its associated aperture. In a preferred embodiment, there are two configurations for the locking levers; one is normally engaged and the other disengaged when they are in their centered rest positions. Knowing the correct combination to open the locking apparatus involves knowing which levers must be moved and which direction they must be moved. Removing finger pressure from the exposed ends of the levers allows the levers to automatically return to their centered positions.

摘要: A push-button padlock having a swivel-only shackle, the free end of which is receivingly engaged by a sleeve that is reciprocable into the padlock body housing upon actuation of a thumb latch member projecting through the housing, preferably through a hole in the front face. The shackle is an inverted J-shaped shackle with the longer end entrained in the padlock body where it engages a latching mechanism which includes the thumb latch and shackle sleeve members. The thumb latch is preferably of breakaway construction and the sleeve may be rotatable. A locking mechanism of any desired type to selectively lock and unlock the latching mechanism may be employed. The preferred locking mechanism is of push-button type, comprising a button block member having a plurality of holes in a spaced array for receiving and retaining two types of buttons, one or more Type A Combination Button(s) and the balance being Dead Pin B Buttons. A transverse bore in the button block intersects the push-button holes to receive a resilient member that engages arcuate grooves in the side of the push-buttons in a first up position and a second, depressed position. The buttons are configured adjacent their lower ends to engage slots in the locking plate, which slots are interspersed with enlarged arcuate relieved portions (holes) aligned with holes in the faces of the lock and the button block. The buttons are configured with adjacent blocking and passing diameter portions that either prevent or permit the locking plate to reciprocate when the correct combination buttons are pressed.

摘要: A resettable combination lock includes a plurality of user depressable buttons and a user-settable interposers for coupling selected ones of the buttons to a first button-actuation counter that counts correct button depressions and the other of the buttons to another button-actuation counter that counts incorrect button depressions. In addition, each button is coupled to a third counter that counts the total number of button actuations. In order to effect unlocking, the correct button sequence must be pushed to cause the first counter to count the proper number of correct button actuations and the third counter to count the proper number of button actuations without registering a single count on the second counter. The incrementing of a single count on the second counter, which indicates the depressing of a button not in the unlock sequence, will prevent the lock from being unlocked.
