    摘要: A vertical member of a modular scaffolding system includes a securing rosette provided in an upper section having a reduced diameter to provide a pre-determined modular connection. The vertical member includes an elongate intermediate section forming the majority of the vertical member of a first diameter greater than the reduced diameter. The intermediate section at a lower edge includes an integral spigot of the reduced diameter. A reinforcing sleeve is fixedly secured to the upper section above the rosette and forms a spigot receiving socket. The vertical member has higher capacity due to the larger diameter intermediate section while maintaining modularity of the scaffolding system.

    摘要: A fall protection device can comprise a platform configured to rest on top of a wall with first and second supports that extend down on opposing sides of the wall. A rail can be coupled to the platform and comprise opposing access points and opposing ladder attachment points. A first movable clamp member can be attached to the first support and configured to secure the fall protection device to the wall. First and second ladders can be removably coupled to the opposing ladder attachment points. The fall protection device can further comprise the first movable clamp member being attached to the first support adjacent the platform, and a second movable clamp member being attached adjacent a distal end of the first support, distal to the platform. The first and second ladders can be removably coupled to the ladder attachment points on the rail.

    摘要: A ladder apparatus adapted for a scaffold is disclosed. The ladder apparatus includes a ladder, two top connection components disposed at a top of the ladder, two bottom connection components disposed at a bottom of the ladder, and two platform assemblies connecting the ladder. The ladder includes two lateral rails and a plurality of step shelves arranged between the rails. Each platform assembly has a platform, two fasteners connected respectively to opposite ends of an external side of the platform, two straddlers connected respectively to opposite ends of an internal side of the platform, and two retainers protruding respectively from two lateral sides of the platform. The ladder connects the internal sides of the two platform assemblies via the top and bottom connection components respectively. The platform assemblies stride over and are against two lateral stringers of the scaffold via the straddlers and join the scaffold via the fasteners. Hence, the top and bottom of the ladder apparatus are served as stages for operators standing on and doing construction jobs.

    摘要: A scaffold access ladder bracket assembly is shown and described. The assembly can be used to attach an access ladder having side rails to a scaffold. The assembly includes a bracket body that includes bent portion terminating in hooked ends. The hooked ends wedge the bracket body against the side rails. The assembly also can include ramped portions connected to the bent portion and spaced apart from the hooked ends to create ladder receiving channels for receiving the ladder side rails. And the assembly includes a locking mechanism connected to the bracket body for lockably engaging the bracket body to ladder side rails. Also disclosed is a method of installing a scaffold access ladder on a scaffold using the assembly. The assembly provides a bracket assembly that requires no tools to install and/or dismantle in at least some instances (e.g., when the assembly is connected to a ladder), and thus, is easy to use and handle.
