    摘要: Foldable insulation systems may comprise recyclable materials fabricated for ease of insertion into a typical box. Disclosed embodiments include the use of polyester fill encased or covered with a clear membrane or other surface material. Disclosed embodiments eschew the current trend of using biodegradable materials. The use of biodegradable materials represents a new found shortfall in the art as few useful insulation materials are biodegradable within a reasonable period of time. The disclosed insulation systems overcome shortfalls in the art by using polyester type materials that often achieve a number “1” value for recycling. Disclosed embodiments may be comprised of virgin resin or more common material such as recycled bottles and other recycled polymers, polyesters, polypropylenes and similar materials. Disclosed systems include a relatively flat insulation member that may be disposed or attached to the top of a box or other container.

The upper body has a vertical upper body fold line and an integrated upper body flap along a first vertical edge of the upper body. The upper body flap is adapted to fold over a second vertical edge of the upper body and is affixed to the upper body proximate the second vertical edge. The gusset is formed from a first gusset portion and a second gusset portion, the first and second gusset portions being integrated with and depending from a lower edge of the upper body on opposing sides of the vertical upper body fold line. The gusset further comprises a gusset support band formed by at least one thickness of the first gusset portion and at least one thickness of the second gusset portion.

    摘要: The present invention provides a disposable insulator for a cup. The disposable insulator includes a sleeve including an insulating material to provide thermal insulation to the exterior of the cup, the sleeve having a top edge, a bottom edge, an inner surface, and an outer surface having a thickness therebetween, the sleeve being tapered from the top edge to the bottom edge and configured to surround at least a portion of the cup, and at least one finger pad made of the insulating material having a bottom edge, the finger pad being separable from the remainder of the sleeve and movable from a first position to a second position, in the first position, the bottom edge of the finger pad being proximate to the bottom edge of the sleeve, and in the second position, the finger pad being separated from at least a portion of the remainder of the sleeve and movable relative to the remainder of the sleeve, in the second position the finger pad being foldable relative to the sleeve with the bottom edge of the finger pad positionable proximate to the top edge of the sleeve, wherein, when in the second position, the folding of the finger pad increases the thickness of the insulation material present at the finger pad to create an area of increased insulation on the sleeve to provide additional thermal insulation to a portion of the exterior of the cup.

    摘要: The present invention provides a container for drinking fluids wherein the container has an integrated interior compartment for storing solid elements used for treating drinking fluids. The interior compartment includes a plurality of perforations that allow the fluid found in the container to flow through the interior compartment to allow such fluid to interact with the contents of the interior chamber. The interior chamber may include a compound for treating the fluid and for forming, for example, alkaline water. The treatment compound is compressed into solid beads that will interact with the drinking fluid but will not substantially dissolve. In one embodiment the treatment compound comprises of Tourmaline, Kaoline, Magnesium, Magnesium Oxide, Silicone Dioxide and Calcium Oxide.
