Abstract:
An optical reading device of a scanning apparatus includes two light sources and a movable lens. The first light source emits a first light when the optical reading device is operated in a flatbed scanning mode. The second light source emits a second light when the optical reading device is operated in a sheetfed scanning mode. The movable mirror is selected to allow for passing the first light without being obstructed by the movable mirror in the flatbed scanning mode or allow for reflecting the second light coming from the second mirror in the sheetfed scanning mode. Due to the special design, the overall volume of the scanning module is reduced.
Abstract:
A high efficiency single-inductor dual-control loop power converter (SIDL) is proposed for converting unregulated DC input into regulated DC output to a power load. The SIDL includes: an energy storage loop having: a power inductor, a power capacitor and a power diode. A PWM switching power regulating loop for converting the unregulated DC input into the regulated DC output. a power-efficiency maximizing loop in parallel connection with the power diode. The power-efficiency maximizing loop includes: a power shunt transistor in parallel connection with the power diode and a real-time control loop adjusting, in response to a freewheeling current through the power diode, conductance of the power shunt transistor in a manner that a higher freewheeling current results in a higher conductance of the power shunt transistor.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a driving method for increasing gray level, wherein the PWM mode is added into the FRM mode, and the PWM mode is implemented with the common drive circuit; the section of the horizontal synchronous signal of a frame interval is divided into multiple sub-sections according to the requirement of the PWM mode; the control of the length of the turn-on period within a frame interval is implemented with a redesigned control circuit, and none special drive circuit is needed.
Abstract:
A belt tension adjustment mechanism for use in an optical module of a scanning apparatus includes a sliding member, a fixture member, a supporting member and a resilient member. The sliding member is arranged on a surface of the optical module and movable on the surface of the optical module. The fixture member is used to fix the belt. The supporting member supports the belt. By means of the resilient member, a tension is applied onto the belt.
Abstract:
By combining a sensing module having a lens and an image sensor with a carriage module having a mirror set, a reading device of a scanning apparatus is assembled. The sensing module further includes two channels at bilateral sides of the lens and two guiding slots disposed on external sides of the channels. The carriage module further includes two linear tracks corresponding to the channels and two bolt hole pedestals corresponding to the guiding slots. The sensing module is glided on the carriage module when the linear tracks are embedded in corresponding channels, thereby correcting the desired magnification.
Abstract:
A walking aid device includes a support body inclusive of a plurality of support elements extending toward the ground. Each support element is coupled to a caster and a brake unit. Each brake unit has a clutching surface. The clutching surface controllably clutches a wheel of the caster or the ground to thereby generate friction for stopping the walking aid device.
Abstract:
An optical object positioning apparatus including an optical element, a light sensor and a processing unit and a positioning method thereof are provided. The optical element includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and perpendicular to a first axis, and has at least two light-passing regions. Light beams from an object to be positioned pass through the light-passing regions from the first surface to the second surface. The light sensor and the optical element are spaced by a predetermined distance on a direction of the first axis. The light sensor senses the light beams from the light-passing regions to generate at least two light-sensing signals. A distance between the object and the optical element is positively correlated to the predetermined distance. The processing unit receives the light-sensing signals and positions the object according to the light-sensing signals and the predetermined distance.
Abstract:
An electronic seal includes a radio frequency identification apparatus, an antenna assembly and an impedance matching circuit. The radio frequency identification apparatus includes at least two radio frequency identification units each for providing a specific code for identification. The antenna assembly is electrically connected to the radio frequency identification units. The antenna assembly is used to receive an electromagnetic signal for identification to excite the radio frequency identification units to transmit the specific codes through the antenna assembly. The impedance matching circuit is provided between the radio frequency identification units and the antenna assembly for adjusting the impedance matching of the radio frequency identification units to the antenna assembly, thus adjusting excitation powers and feedback powers of the specific codes from the radio frequency identification units through the antenna assembly.
Abstract:
A light guide module of a scanning apparatus includes plural side-emitting light emitting diodes and a light-guiding post, which are disposed on a circuit board. The light-guiding post has plural reflective structures corresponding to respective side-emitting light emitting diodes for receiving light beams from respective side-emitting light emitting diodes. A spacing interval between two of the side-emitting light emitting diodes at a middle portion of the circuit board is greater than a spacing interval between two of the side-emitting light emitting diodes at a side of the circuit board.
