Abstract: A method for rendering pixel, an apparatus for rendering pixel, and a display device are disclosed. The method includes steps of obtaining gray-scale values of three primary colors of an original image pixel in an RGB color space, converting the gray-scale values of three primary colors of the original image pixel into gray-scale values of three primary colors and a compensating component of a compensating image pixel, sampling from a compensating image, and setting the gray-scale values of the three primary colors and the compensating component of two adjacent compensating image pixels in each row as gray-scale values of corresponding sub pixels of a screen pixel in each row.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a driving method and a driving device of display panels. The driving method includes: dividing a saturation interval of an original image frame to be displayed by a display panel into a plurality of sub-saturation intervals; obtaining saturation values corresponding to each of the pixels in the original image frame; calculating numbers of pixels in the original image frame falling within each of the sub-saturation intervals in accordance with the saturation values corresponding to each of the pixels. In this way, the backlight brightness outputted by the backlight module may be adjusted in accordance with the saturation values of the original image frame so as to enhance the low brightness issue when a pure-color image is displayed by the display panel configured with RGBW sub-pixels.

Abstract: An in-cell type touch panel, a manufacturing method thereof and a LCD device are provided. The touch panel includes an array substrate including: a glass substrate, thin film transistors, a planarization layer overlying the thin film transistors, a connecting wire on the planarization layer, a first insulating layer overlying the connecting wire, a touch sensing electrode on the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer overlying the touch sensing electrode and a pixel electrode on the second insulating layer. The connecting wire is connected to the touch sensing electrode by a first via hole, and the pixel electrode is connected to one of the thin film transistors by a second via hole. The touch sensing electrode further is configured as a common electrode, and during a displaying time period of an image frame, the touch sensing electrode transmits a common voltage and a touch control signal in time division manner.

Abstract: A backlight module with a non-planar lateral structure and LCD apparatus using the same are described. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a driving system of display panels. The driving system includes a main board and a display panel. The main board is configured with a driving chip, and the driving chip electrically connects to the display panel via a flexible circuit board to drive the display panel to display. With such configuration, the driving system is configured with the main board and the driving chip, and the driving chip is arranged on the main board, instead of the flexible circuit board. With such configuration, the space of the display area occupied by the components is reduced so as to realize the narrow border design for a top border and a bottom border of the display panel. In this way, the screen ratio of the display panel is increased.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a driving method and a driving device of display panels. The driving method includes: obtaining three-color sub-pixel data of each of pixels of a current image, obtaining a saturation value corresponding to each of the pixels in accordance with the three-color sub-pixel data of each of the pixels, obtaining a current background-white ratio in accordance with the three-color sub-pixel data and the saturation value of each of the pixels, determining whether the current background-white ratio is within a predetermined adjustment range, and reducing a white grayscale value of four-color sub-pixel data of the current image in accordance with the current background-white ratio and outputting the reduced white grayscale value to a display panel. In this way, the darker pure-color effect due to the high contrast may be reduced, which effectively enhances the darker pure-color issue of the RGBW display panel.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a driving method and a driving device of display panels. The driving method includes: obtaining three-color sub-pixel data of each of pixels of a current image; obtaining a saturation value and a Chroma value corresponding to each of the pixels; determining if the saturation value corresponding to each of the pixels is within a predetermined range; obtaining a white-grayscale-added value in accordance with the Chroma value corresponding to the pixel, adopting the white-grayscale-added value as a white grayscale value of the four-color sub-pixel data corresponding to the pixel, and outputting the white grayscale value to the display panel upon determining the saturation value corresponding to the pixel is within the predetermined range. In this way, the brightness of the pure-color image displayed on the display panel may be enhanced, and there is no darker issue when the pure-color image is displayed.
