    Abstract: An ultrasound catheter and an ultrasound catheter system that allow an operator to identify a direction of an image acquired by a transducer. The ultrasound catheter includes: an outer sheath including an accommodation lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end ; a drive shaft movable in an inner sheath along an axial center of the outer sheath; a transducer disposed in the accommodation lumen and fixed to a distal end of the drive shaft; and a radiopaque distal end marker disposed at a distal end portion of the outer sheath, in which the distal end marker includes a marker identification portion extending along the axial center on a part in a circumferential direction, and a marker comparison portion formed in a circumferential direction or a radial direction of the outer sheath with a length and/or an arrangement different from that of the marker identification portion.

    Abstract: A learning model generation method includes: acquiring training data from a training database that records a plurality of sets of a tomographic image acquired using a tomographic image acquisition probe, and correct answer classification data in which each of pixels included in the tomographic image is classified into a plurality of regions including a living tissue region and a non-living tissue region, in association with each other; acquiring thin-walled part data relating to a thin-walled part thinner than a predetermined threshold value, for a predetermined region in the correct answer classification data; and performing a parameter adjustment process for a learning model that outputs output classification data in which each of the pixels included in the tomographic image is classified into the plurality of regions, based on the training data and the thin-walled part data.

    Abstract: An image diagnosis catheter is disclosed, which includes: a sheath inserted into a living body; an ultrasound vibrator capable of transmitting and receiving ultrasound in the sheath; a housing holding the ultrasound vibrator in the sheath; and a drive shaft attached to a proximal side of the housing and rotatable in the sheath, in which an ultrasound transmitting/receiving surface of the ultrasound vibrator facing a radial direction of the sheath is inclined with respect to an extension direction of the sheath such that a distal end of the ultrasound transmitting/receiving surface is closer to an inner peripheral surface of the sheath than a proximal end of the ultrasound transmitting/receiving surface, and the housing does not block a distal side of the ultrasound vibrator in an in-plane direction of the ultrasound transmitting/receiving surface.

    Abstract: An information processing device that includes a classification image data acquisition unit configured to acquire a plurality of classification image data classified into a plurality of regions including a first intraluminal region into which the image acquisition catheter for a three-dimensional scan is inserted and a second intraluminal region into which the image acquisition catheter is not inserted; a merging determination unit configured to determine whether the second intraluminal region in a first catheter image merges with the first intraluminal region in a second catheter image acquired at a different axial position; and an image output unit configured to output a region image including the first intraluminal region based on the plurality of classification image data, and outputs, only the second intraluminal region that is determined to merge by the merging determination unit, together with the first intraluminal region as the region image.
