Abstract: An image processing device is an image processing device that, with reference to tomographic data that is a data set obtained using a sensor moving in a lumen of a biological tissue, displays a cross-sectional image representing a cross section of the biological tissue orthogonal to a movement direction of the sensor on a display, the image processing device including a control unit that acquires specification data specifying at least one location in a space corresponding to the tomographic data, and performs control so that a mark, which varies depending on a distance between the at least one location and the cross section in the movement direction is displayed at a position corresponding to the at least one location in the cross-sectional image when the cross-sectional image is displayed.

Abstract: An image processing device, with reference to tomographic data obtained using a sensor moving in a lumen of a biological tissue, displays an image representing the biological tissue on a display, and includes a control unit that acquires specification data specifying at least one location in a space corresponding to the tomographic data, identifies a direction of the at least one location from a centroid in a cross section of the biological tissue orthogonal to a movement direction of the sensor, the direction including the at least one location, as a specification direction, with reference to the tomographic data, identifies a position corresponding to the at least one location in the cross section as a corresponding position according to an identified specification direction and a position of the centroid, and performs control so that a mark is displayed at an identified corresponding position when the image is displayed.

Abstract: An ultrasound catheter and an ultrasound catheter system that allow an operator to identify a direction of an image acquired by a transducer. The ultrasound catheter includes: an outer sheath including an accommodation lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end ; a drive shaft movable in an inner sheath along an axial center of the outer sheath; a transducer disposed in the accommodation lumen and fixed to a distal end of the drive shaft; and a radiopaque distal end marker disposed at a distal end portion of the outer sheath, in which the distal end marker includes a marker identification portion extending along the axial center on a part in a circumferential direction, and a marker comparison portion formed in a circumferential direction or a radial direction of the outer sheath with a length and/or an arrangement different from that of the marker identification portion.
