Abstract:
The invention provides an ink jet recording head in which an element substrate provided in a head unit and constituted of plural drive elements is driven to discharge ink droplets from plural nozzles. In the ink jet recording head, the head unit has a substantially parallelogram shape, and plural head units are connected in a row to form a head bar.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric device includes a piezoelectric body layer, a first electrode layer at one face side of the piezoelectric body layer, and a second electrode layer at a side of a face of the same that is opposite to the side at which the first electrode layer is disposed. Higher potentials are applied to the first electrode layer and lower potentials are applied to the second electrode layer. The piezoelectric device features a metallic layer disposed in contact with a piezoelectric body layer surface at the side at which the first electrode layer is provided, and a metal oxide layer disposed in contact with a piezoelectric body layer surface at the side at which the second electrode layer is provided. The metallic layer is formed of a metallic material with a standard electrode potential greater than 0 V, and the metal oxide layer is formed of a metal oxide.
Abstract:
At a printing unit which structures a printing apparatus, a portion of a transport path, which portion includes a rear portion of an upper guide path portion of a printing guide path, a sub-scanning guide path, a paper ejection buffer and a front portion of a branching guide path, is assembled to an upper face side of a sliding panel together with a printing section and a separation and ejection roller which are assembled to the upper face side of the sliding panel. The sliding panel is attached to a casing of the printing unit with a pair of guide rails interposed therebetween at a front end portion and a rear end portion. By sliding of this sliding panel, the portion of the transport path can be slid along a direction substantially intersecting a direction in which the transport path extends.
Abstract:
An actuator has: a piezoelectric body formed in a shape of a tube and having an inner side wall, which faces a hollow portion of the tube, and an outer side wall, which is structured at an outer side of the tube; a first electrode formed at the inner side wall of the piezoelectric body; and a second electrode formed at the outer side wall of the piezoelectric body. The actuator displaces the piezoelectric body by a potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode.
Abstract:
The ear pad according to the present invention has a number of gathered sound-insulating walls (12) monolithically provided on an outer periphery of a basic body (11) made of an elastic material such as rubber, for instance, a silicon rubber or soft synthetic resins, for instance, polypropylene in a ring form with a prescribed space in the axial direction and made of the same material as that for the basic body. With this feature, the ear pad according to the present invention can provide softness and adaptability to be set in an auditory means without stimulating sensitive portions thereof.

A liquid droplet ejecting head bar comprising: multiple liquid droplet ejecting head units that eject liquid droplets from nozzles; a long substrate on which the plurality of liquid droplet ejecting head units are arranged; and spacer components to which the liquid droplet ejecting head units are joined and fixed and which are attached to the long substrate so as to be removable.
Abstract:
An improved paper-making hydrous acid filler is prepared by classifying or pulverizing a slurry containing fine particles of hydrous silicic acid, which is obtained by neutralizing sodium silicate with sulfuric acid, by a wet classifier or a wet pulverizer, so that the proportion of particles having a particles size of 1 to 30 .mu.m is at least 80% and the proportion of particles having a particle size of at least 70 .mu.m is not more than 0.4%. The filler has a function of improving the ink receptivity of the paper of the internal additive type and is capable of improving the opacity of the paper after printing.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric element includes: a lower electrode which is formed on a surface of a vibrating plate, and is one polarity of a piezoelectric element which displaces the vibrating plate; a flexurally-deformable piezoelectric body formed on a surface of the lower electrode; and an upper electrode which is formed on a surface of the piezoelectric body, and is another polarity of the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric body is formed by a vacuum deposition method. Polarization of the piezoelectric body is oriented in a direction from the lower electrode toward the upper electrode.
Abstract:
A driving device for a liquid jetting apparatus includes an application unit and a controller. The application unit generates and applies a first voltage of a first waveform to a first pressure generating unit and generates and applies a second voltage of a second waveform to the second pressure generating unit to jet a liquid droplet outside a nozzle after pulling liquid inside the nozzle. The second waveform includes at least one of a third waveform corresponding to a jetting angle for changing a jetting direction from a reference direction by deforming a liquid level of liquid pulled inside the nozzle in a direction of pushing the liquid level outside the nozzle, or a fourth waveform corresponding to a jetting angle for changing the jetting direction from the reference direction by deforming the liquid level of liquid pulled inside the nozzle in a direction of further pulling the liquid level.
