摘要： A printer has first and second print sections 100, 200 joined along a line 12, and a controller 50. Each section contains a printhead 120; 220 travelling on a track 110; 210. A frame or frame part 104 supports the track and is driven on wheels by a motor, so that the printer can travel autonomously along a horizontally extending step edge, printing as it goes. It further includes a sensor for detecting the proximity of the vertical face 5v of the step. The printer can thus be set to print advertising, for instance, on the steps of a stadium.

摘要： A printing press for digital printing on three-dimensional objects includes a plurality of printing stations arranged in a specified radian on an outer peripheral edge of a press wheel. Each one of the printing stations includes an inkjet print head for digital printing on three-dimensional objects and a rotary table for holding the three-dimensional object. A printing unit prints on the three-dimensional object by separate printing of a mark or a logo executed as a pad print. The printing unit includes a mechanical feed unit and a plurality of pads successively arranged on a rotating wheel. The pads and the surfaces of the printed three-dimensional objects held in the printing stations are held in the same radian and move at the same circumferential speed so that the pads print on the three-dimensional objects by means of a tampograph.

摘要： In a recording apparatus, a first path and a module path of a first recording module for conveying and recording of a recording medium are formed such that a distance between the most downstream ejection opening and a joining position of the first path and a second path is less than a length of a recording medium. The controller executes: a first determination processing for determining whether there is a recording medium which should be conveyed through a join determination position before the recording medium having been supplied to the first recording module; and a wait processing for causing the recording medium having been supplied to the first recording module to wait in a state in which its leading edge is located upstream of the most upstream shared conveyor on the first path, when the controller determines that there is a recording medium.
