Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include at least one sensor, at least one communication circuit, and a processor electrically connected to the at least one sensor and/or the at least one communication circuit, wherein the processor is configured to determine a relay message generation condition associated with a vehicle based at least on data acquired from the at least one sensor and/or the at least one communication circuit, to generate a relay message based at least on the data acquired from the at least one sensor and/or the at least one communication circuit when the relay message generation condition is satisfied based on the determination result, and to transmit the generated relay message to an external vehicle through the at least one communication circuit.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes at least one communication circuit, and a processor electrically connected with the at least one communication circuit. The processor may be configured to select an external electronic device in response to a user input, broadcast, through the at least one communication circuit using a first protocol, a connection request for a second protocol-based communication with the external electronic device, receive a response to the connection request from the external electronic device through the at least one communication circuit, and perform communication with the external electronic device through the at least one communication circuit using a second protocol, based on connection information about the external electronic device for the second protocol-based communication, the connection information being contained in the response.
Abstract:
A method and a device for controlling external data network use via a mobile Access Point (AP) are provided. A host device set as the mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set, blocks a client device from using the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is set, and permits the client device to use the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is released. A client device connected to a mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set for a host device set as the mobile AP, if the client device is connected to the host device in a state of being connected to a wireless data network, maintains the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is set, and releases the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is released.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device including: a display that displays screens; a processor that displays, on the display of the electronic device, presence information of one or more counterpart devices associated with a first communication service provided through a browser application, receives a user input for communication with the one or more counterpart devices, and displays, on the display, a second screen of the browser application providing a second communication service in response to the user input; a first module including a plurality of modules for providing the first communication service; a second module including a plurality of modules for providing a second communication service; and a control module that controls the first module and the second module.
Abstract:
A method in which a second electronic device communicates with a neighbor device is provided. The method includes connecting to a first electronic device, receiving first information for a third electronic device from the first electronic device, and controlling the third electronic device using the first information, wherein the first information includes control right information for the third electronic device.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for storing and displaying user information in an electronic device is provided to categorize information and designate importance. The method includes identifying a plurality of user information, extracting overlapped common information from the plurality of user information, and storing information which is not overlapped among the plurality of user information to be included in a first category and storing the common information to be included in a second category.
