Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an image sensor including a pixel, the pixel including a micro lens, a plurality of photodiodes, and a color filter disposed between the plurality of photodiodes and the micro lens; a processor operatively connected to the image sensor; and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores one or more instructions that, when executed by the image sensor, cause the image sensor to perform a plurality of operations, the plurality of operations comprising: determining whether the image sensor is in a high-resolution mode; when the image sensor is in the high-resolution mode, calculating a disparity based on signals detected from the plurality of photodiodes; when the disparity is not greater than a threshold value, applying a first remosaic algorithm to the signals; and when the disparity is greater than the threshold value, applying a second remosaic algorithm to the signals.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device includes an image sensor, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the electronic device to: obtain a plurality of image frames including external light and an external object at a first designated frame rate using the image sensor, based on a capturing signal; identify a frequency of a flicker related to the external light source; generate first section images for at least a part of a time for which the plurality of image frames are obtained using frames selected from the plurality of image frames corresponding to a second designated frame rate based at least on the frequency, the second designated frame rate being lower than the first designated frame rate; generate second section images for at least a part of the time for which the plurality of image frames are obtained in response at least to a designated input using image frames obtained at the first designated frame rate after the designated input from among the plurality of image frames; and generate moving image data including at least the first section images and the second section images.

The controller is configured to generate a frame by integrating the pixel data sequentially received from the readout circuit, generate a profile regarding flickering of the collected light using the generated frame and another frame generated prior to the generated frame, and store the generated profile in the memory, obtain a profile set including profiles corresponding to a plurality of frames from the memory, and transfer the generated frame and the obtained profile set to the processor.
