    Abstract: A display device includes a first connector which receives a first image signal and first driving power, a second connector which receives a second image signal and second driving power, a first control unit which processes the first image signal and the first driving power, a second control unit which processes the second image signal and the second driving power, a power management unit which receives the first and second driving powers from the first control unit and the second control unit, measures the first and second driving powers, and provides information about the first driving power and information about the second driving power to the first and second control units, and a display unit which receives one of the first and second image signals from one of the first and second control units and displays one of the first and second image signals.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged substantially in a matrix form, where a part of the plurality of pixels defines a pixel column block, a first scan signal is simultaneously applied to an n-th row pixel and an (n+2)-th row pixel of the pixel column block, a second scan signal, which is applied prior to the first scan signal, is simultaneously applied to an (n+1)-th row pixel and an (n+3)-th row pixel of the pixel column block, a first data voltage is applied to the n-th row pixel and the (n+1)-th row pixel, a second data voltage having a polarity different from a polarity of the first data voltage is applied to the (n+2)-th row pixel and the (n+3)-th row pixel, and the polarities of the first data voltage and the second data voltage are inverted on a frame-by-frame basis.

    Abstract: A display device includes an afterimage compensator generating output grayscales by applying at least one of first and second weights to input grayscales when the input grayscales correspond to a still image, and pixels displaying an image based on the output grayscales. The afterimage compensator applies the first weight having an initial value greater than 1 to the input grayscales of a first group, and converges the first weight to 1, and applies the second weight having initial values less than 1 to the input grayscales of a second group, and converges the second weights to 1.
