    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a display device includes irradiating a laser beam onto a work panel along a beam irradiation line corresponding to an outer edge of the display device including a first thickness area and a second thickness area. The irradiating of the laser beam includes first irradiating the laser beam under a first driving condition to provide a first portion of the beam irradiation line at the first area, stopping driving of the laser beam while changing the first driving condition to a second driving condition different from the first driving condition, after the first irradiating of the laser beam, and second irradiating the laser beam under the second driving condition to provide a second portion of the beam irradiation line at the second area, after the stopping of the driving of the laser beam.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel for displaying an image, and including a folding area configured to be folded about a folding axis, and a non-folding area adjacent to the folding area, and also includes a window on the display panel, including a flexible material, and configured to be folded along the display panel, wherein a side surface of the window has a first surface roughness in the non-folding area, and has a second surface roughness in the folding area that is less than the first surface roughness.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electronic apparatus includes: providing a work substrate including a preliminary set module including an active area including a hole formation area; and a protective film covering at least one of an upper surface and a rear surface of the preliminary set module; radiating the laser beam to the work substrate from a first start point toward a moving path removing at least a portion of the work substrate to form a first start cutting line in the hole formation area, the moving path of the laser beam defined as a boundary between the hole formation area and the active area; radiating the laser beam along the moving path; and removing the hole formation area from the preliminary set module to form a module hole, wherein the first start cutting line forms a predetermined angle with respect to a tangential line of the moving path.

    Abstract: A display device in which damage and carbonization of a display substrate is substantially minimized and a method of manufacturing the display device are provided. A display device includes: a substrate including a first area having a first thickness and a second area having a second thickness which is different from the first thickness; a display layer at the first area of the substrate; and a functional member on the display layer at the first area. The first area and the second area are arranged along a first direction, the substrate includes a protruding portion at the second area, and the protruding portion includes a side portion having an inclination of about 5 degrees or more with respect to the first direction toward a second direction which intersects the first direction.

    Abstract: A display device fabrication method includes providing a substrate including a display panel including a panel mark, placing a processing module on the display panel, the processing module including a processing mark and a first processing line adjacent to the processing mark, the processing mark corresponding to the panel mark of the display panel, calculating an offset between the panel mark and the processing mark, correcting the first processing line to define a second processing line overlapping a periphery of the display panel, the correcting including reflecting the calculated offset, and processing the periphery of the display panel along the second processing line. The calculating of the offset includes obtaining a first offset defined as a displacement between points on the processing and panel marks, and obtaining a second offset defined as an angle of the panel mark with respect to the processing mark.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display apparatus includes separating a mother substrate that includes a plurality of connected unit display apparatuses into a plurality of separated unit display apparatuses. Each separated unit display apparatus includes a display panel and at least one supporting unit attached below the display panel. The display panel includes a display substrate that has a pad area on which are disposed a plurality of pads and a thin film encapsulation layer on the display substrate. The method further includes consecutively cutting the display panel and the at least one supporting unit of each separated unit display apparatus along cutting lines in the pad area, where a first cut surface of the pad area of the display substrate and a second cut surface of the at least one supporting unit are respectively cut at different angles.
