    Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a backlight to generate light; a display panel to display an image by utilizing the light; a driving part to provide image signals corresponding to the image to the display panel; and a timing controller to drive the backlight, to drive the driving part at a first frequency when the image is a moving image, and to drive the driving part at a second frequency lower than the first frequency when the image is a still image. The timing controller is to set the second frequency based on a value obtained by applying a reduction rate of a flicker index corresponding to a dimming index of the backlight to a flicker index of image signals of a previous frame.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels respectively connected to a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines, a data driving circuit for driving the plurality of data lines, a scan driving circuit for driving the plurality of scan lines, and a driving controller for receiving a control signal and an image signal and controlling the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit such that an image is displayed on the display panel. The driving controller identifies a first region and a second region of an image to be displayed on the display panel based on the image signal and provides the data driving circuit with an image data signal obtained by compensating for the image signal to be provided to pixels adjacent to the second region among pixels corresponding to the first region as a compensation value.

    Abstract: A tiled display device includes a plurality of display panels coupled to each other, where each of the plurality of display panels includes an edge region adjacent to a boundary line between the plurality of display panels, and a panel driver which multiplies input gray levels of input image data for the plurality of display panels by an adaptive gain, generates boundary compensated image data by adding boundary compensation gray levels to the input gray levels multiplied by the adaptive gain for the edge region, and drives the plurality of display panels based on the boundary compensated image data. The adaptive gain is gradually decreased over a plurality of frame periods in a case where a sum of each of the input gray levels for the edge region and a corresponding one of the boundary compensation gray levels exceeds a maximum gray level.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel including a display region and a non-display region adjacent thereto, an input sensor overlapping a first region of the display region, and an antenna overlapping a second region of the display region. The input sensor includes a first sensing layer including a bridge pattern and a second sensing layer including sensor electrodes and disposed on a different layer from the first sensing layer. The bridge pattern connects two adjacent sensor electrodes. The antenna includes a first antenna layer including a first antenna with a first frequency band, the first antenna layer and the first sensing layer disposed on the same layer, and a second antenna layer including a second antenna with a second frequency band different from the first frequency band. The second antenna layer and the second sensing layer are disposed on the same layer.
