Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support guidance of users to particular locations within a facility. In a first aspect, RF fingerprints are determined at locations within the facility based on signal strengths from RF devices, including electronic shelf labels (ESLs). A graph may be determined based on the RF fingerprints. A current location for a user may be determined based on a current RF fingerprint for the user. A route through the graph may be determined through the facility and may be displayed to the user as the user navigates the facility. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices that support converting position information from a device to positional descriptions with respect to descriptional layouts of assets at a location. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining position information associated with a user equipment (UE) and retrieving one or more frames of a survey video of a location that correspond to an estimated position of the UE. The estimated position is based on the position information. The method includes extracting a set of features from the one or more frames and outputting a description of the estimated position with respect to a descriptional layout of assets at the location based on one or more descriptions identified from the descriptional layout. The one or more descriptions are identified based on the set of features. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: According to various aspects and techniques to enable methods and systems for a first communication device to determine an approximate number of other communication devices that have lost contact with a host communication device. This includes determining a common future time window using a last known global time stamp and determining a transmit time within the common future time window. This also includes receiving samples that are captured during the common future time window on a predefined communication channel, as well as analyzing the received samples to estimate the total number of other communication devices.
