Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques configuring channel state information (CSI) reporting for certain service types, such as the ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC) service type. In some cases, a UE may obtain information regarding a first set of channel state information (CSI) reporting configurations for a first service type separate from a second set of CSI reporting configurations for a second service type, receive a first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a CSI report for the first service type on at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), generate at least one CSI report for the first service type based on one of the first set of CSI reporting configurations selected based on a field in the DCI, and transmitting the CSI report for the first service type on the PUSCH.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple channel state information (CSI) reports scheduled to be transmitted in a slot on respective physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources. For example, the multiple CSI reports may include one or more CSI reports associated with a first service type and one or more CSI reports associated with a second service type. The UE may select, from the multiple CSI reports, one or more CSI reports to be transmitted in the slot based at least in part on a first priority associated with the first service type and a second priority associated with the second service type. Accordingly, the UE may transmit, in the slot, one or more PUCCH transmissions that include the one or more selected CSI reports. Numerous other aspects are provided.

The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range. Abstract: In an aspect, a UE determines whether there is an overlap between a first uplink transmission channel allocated for transmission of a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission channel allocated for transmission of second uplink transmission. The UE generates a combined uplink transmission payload in response to a determination that there is the overlap, wherein the combined uplink transmission payload includes at least a portion of the first uplink transmission and at least a portion of the second uplink transmission. The UE transmits the combined uplink transmission payload on either the first uplink transmission channel or the second uplink transmission channel. A base station receives the combined uplink transmission payload transmitted by the UE.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a downlink control information signal, wherein the downlink control information indicates an uplink grant for multiple contiguous nominal uplink repetitions, identifies resources allocated for the multiple contiguous nominal uplink repetitions based on the uplink grant, wherein the identified resources include first resources for a first actual repetition of uplink data and second resources for a second actual repetition of uplink data, transmits the first actual repetition of uplink data using the first resources, and transmits the second actual repetition of the uplink data using the second resources.

Abstract: NB wireless communication involves numerous challenges. A limited frequency dimension may need to be shared by multiple users. At times, large data transmissions, including multiple TBs of data may be transmitted using NB communication, and it may be important that each TB be successfully received by the users. The apparatus may transmit data comprising a plurality of TBs in a narrow band communications system, including repeating a transmission of the plurality of TBs, using any of a number of repetition patterns. The apparatus may use error correction encoding across multiple TBs. The transmission may be a single cell transmission or a multi-cell transmission.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for optimizing real time services (e.g., such as a voice over Long Term Evolution (LTE) (VoLTE)) for devices with limited communications resources, such as machine type communication (MTC) devices and enhanced MTC (eMTC) devices. In one aspect, a UE determines a first configuration of subframes within at least one radio frame available for the UE and other UEs to use for bundled communications with a BS. The UE receives an indication of one or more subframes within the at least one radio frame that are unavailable for bundled uplink transmissions, and determines a second configuration of subframes to use for bundled communications based on the indication. The UE overrides the first configuration of subframes with the second configuration of subframes, and communicates with the BS using the second configuration of subframes.
