    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for multiple sets of prioritization parameters for a random access channel (RACH) procedure. A first set of prioritization parameters of the multiple sets of prioritization parameters may be associated with a higher priority network slice than the other sets of prioritization parameters (e.g., than the remaining sets of prioritization parameters). The UE may detect a trigger to perform a RACH procedure and select the first set of prioritization parameters for the RACH procedure based on the first set of prioritization parameters being associated with the higher priority network slice. The UE may perform the RACH procedure for the network slice according to the first set of prioritization parameters.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain, for each of one or more sidelink relay candidates, a measurement of a sidelink signal and a measurement of a Uu signal to a base station. The UE may select a sidelink relay candidate from among the one or more sidelink relay candidates based at least in part on a combination of the measurement of the sidelink signal and the measurement of the Uu signal for each sidelink relay candidate.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a remote user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station via a relay UE. For example, the relay UE may operate as a layer 2 (L2) UE-to-network relay supporting a PC5-to-Uu bearer mapping, such that the relay UE forwards messages between the PC5 bearer for the remote UE and the Uu bearer for the base station. If the remote UE determines a trigger event, the remote UE may transmit a measurement report to the base station (e.g., via the relay UE) indicating candidate relays. Based on the measurement report, the base station may determine to handover the UE from using a first relay UE to using a second relay UE. The base station may transmit a handover command to the UE, triggering the remote UE to communicate with the base station via the second relay UE.

A transmitting device may receive one or more service data units (SDUs) at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device. The transmitting device may encode, at the L2 layer, the one or more SDUs according to one or more network coding parameters to obtain at least one encoded protocol data unit (PDU), the one or more network coding parameters comprising a rateless code. The transmitting device may generate, for the at least one encoded PDU, at least one corresponding PDU header. The transmitting device may output the at least one encoded PDU and the at least one corresponding PDU header from the L2 layer to a lower layer of the transmitting device for transmission to one or more receiving devices.
