An example method generally includes performing partial sensing by monitoring for sidelink transmissions from one or more other UEs using one or more different beams during one or more different portions of a sensing window; and selecting resources, within a resource selection window, for future sidelink communications based on results of the partial sensing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message associated with a first sidelink transmission from the first UE, the first SCI including a first indication of a first set of resources reserved for retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission at one or more retransmission occasions. The UE may identify a second SCI message associated with the first SCI message, where the second SCI provides a release of at least a first subset of the first set of resources reserved for the retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission. The UE may then perform retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission in accordance with the release.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To improve sidelink reservation schemes, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE, a coordination message indicating a set of resources associated with sidelink communications and a preference of the second UE for one or more subsets of the set of resources. The first UE may transmit the sidelink communications using one or more resources of the set of resources based on the preference of the second UE for the one or more subsets of the set of resources. In some examples, the one or more resources may be selected from candidate resources within a resource selection window of the first UE. Additionally, or alternatively, the candidate resources may be based on the preference of the second UE.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a receiving sidelink user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first original message from a first transmitting sidelink UE. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a co-channel configuration. The co-channel configuration may indicate a set of sidelink parameters for a co-channel operation associated with dynamically utilizing sidelink radio frequency resources allocated for a first radio access technology and sidelink radio frequency resources allocated for a second radio access technology. The UE may transmit, based on the received co-channel configuration, an indication of a set of channel availability parameter values indicating an amount of available sidelink radio frequency resources associated with the first radio access technology, the second radio access technology, or both. Subsequently, the UE may receive a grant scheduling a set of sidelink resources for the wireless communication associated with the second radio access technology based on the transmitted indication of the set of channel availability parameter values for the co-channel operation.
