Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides an optical device including a first substrate, a light source, a second substrate, an image capturing device, a lens module and a lens holder. The light source outputs a first light beam. The second substrate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and closer to the first substrate. A scattered light beam which is generated by the first light beam entering an object touching the first surface of the second substrate and scattered in the object is a second light beam. The image capturing device receives a third light beam. The third light beam is the second light beam normally incident to the second surface and transmitted to the image capturing device. The lens module focuses the third light beam to be captured by the image capturing device.

The microstructure layer is adapted to increase a light beam, which is scattered by the object and transmitted to the image capturing device. The infrared pass layer is adapted to pass the infrared light.

Abstract: A backside illumination global shutter pixel is disposed in a substrate having a first surface and a second surface and includes an isolation structure having a deep trench isolation pattern, a storage node, and a photoelectric conversion element. The deep trench isolation pattern has a channel and defines a first region and a second region connected with each other by the channel. The storage node is disposed in the second region. The photoelectric conversion element has a main photoelectric conversion portion disposed in the first region and an extending photoelectric conversion portion extended from the main photoelectric conversion portion through the channel to the second region. The extending photoelectric conversion portion is disposed between the second surface and the storage node. A backside illumination global shutter sensor including a plurality of backside illumination global shutter pixels is also provided.

Abstract: An optical fingerprint sensing module includes an image sensing device, a light source and a light shielding structure. The image sensing device is configured to sense light transmitted from a fingerprint of a finger on a display panel. The image sensing device includes a light sensing plane having a first geometric center. The light source includes a light emitting plane having a second geometric center. The first geometric center is separated from the second geometric center by a distance from 2 mm to 20 mm. The light shielding structure is disposed between the image sensing device and the light source. In examples, the optical fingerprint sensing module further includes a field angle controller to constrain light pass there through with a field angle of 5-60 degrees. A display device including an optical fingerprint sensing module is disclosed herein as well.

Abstract: A sensing device includes a light-field image sensor and a sensing circuit. The light-field image sensor includes a plurality of subarrays. One of the subarrays corresponds to sensing pixels. The sensing pixels are to capture images of an object on or in proximity to a display panel by sensing lights from different directions. The sensing circuit is to generate a plurality of sub-images of the object according to sensing signals of the sensing pixels and shift each of the sub-images of the object by an off-set to generate an image data.

Abstract: An under display light field sensor is for sensing a fingerprint or touch on or in proximity to a display panel. The under display light field sensor includes a light-field image sensor and a plurality of micro-lenses on the subarrays of the sensing pixels. The light-field image sensor includes a plurality of subarrays of sensing pixels under the display panel. The sensing pixels in an identical one of the subarrays are configured to capture images of an object on or in proximity to the display panel by sensing lights from different directions. Each of the micro-lenses corresponds to one of the subarrays of the sensing pixels.

Abstract: The optical sensor device including a sensor layer, a microlens layer and a filter layer is provided. The sensor layer includes a plurality of sensor areas, and is configured to sense a multi-wavelength light from a finger. Each of the microlenses focuses the multi-wavelength light on a corresponding one of the sensor areas. The filter layer is disposed between the sensor layer and the microlens layer, and configured to filter the multi-wavelength light to generate a plurality of lights with different wavelengths.
