    Abstract: Various examples pertaining to multi-transmit/receive point (TRP) interference control in wireless communications are described. A processor of a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network node, a downlink measurement reference signal and configures an interference measurement resource (IMR) associated with a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource of the UE based on the DL measurement reference signal. The processor measures a channel response of a communication channel between the UE and the network node. The processor also measures an interference using the IMR. The processor then generates a precoder based on the measured channel response and the measured interference. The processor further performs an uplink transmission to the network node using the precoder.

    Abstract: A beamforming system synchronization architecture is proposed to allow a receiving device to synchronize to a transmitting device in time, frequency, and spatial domain in the most challenging situation with very high pathloss. A periodically configured time-frequency resource blocks in which the transmitting device uses the same beamforming weights for its control beam transmission to the receiving device. A pilot signal for each of the control beams is transmitted in each of the periodically configured time-frequency resource blocks. The same synchronization signal can be used for all stages of synchronization including initial coarse synchronization, device and beam identification, and channel estimation for data demodulation.

The UE modulates the particular DMRS sequence to obtain a set of symbols. The UE maps a plurality of symbols of the set of symbols to a plurality of subcarriers. The UE transmits the plurality of symbols on the plurality of subcarriers.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide an apparatus that includes a baseband processing circuit and a transmitting circuit. The baseband processing circuit is configured to encode a reference signal based on a specific sequence to generate a digital stream. The specific sequence has non-zero values at selected positions, and the number of coincidences of non-zero value positions between the specific sequence and a shifted copy of the specific sequence is smaller than a threshold. A user equipment (UE) stores information with respect to a plurality of permutations with respect to a mapping between a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources and a plurality of antenna ports at the UE. The UE receives signaling from a network node of a wireless network. The signaling contains an index identifying a permutation among the plurality of permutations. The UE performs an uplink transmission of data to the network node using one or more SRS resources of the plurality of SRS resources and one or more antenna ports of the plurality of antenna ports according to the identified permutation.
