Abstract:
Power control schemes for D2D communications are described. The schemes control the transmission power of a UE during D2D communications in a manner that reduces interference while maintaining the D2D communications link and the cellular link with the eNB. Open-loop and/or closed-loop techniques are employed.
Abstract:
An apparatus, method, and computer readable media for requesting and sending block acknowledgement requests (BARs) and block acknowledgments (BAs) is disclosed. A method for BARs is disclosed. The method may include transmitting data frames to two or more wireless communication devices in accordance with a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output (MU-MIMO). The method may include transmitting block acknowledgement requests (BARs) for the transmitted data frames to the two or more wireless communication devices in accordance with MU-MIMO. The method may include receiving block acknowledges (BA) of the data frames from the two or more wireless communication devices in accordance with MU-MIMO. A method for BAs is disclosed. The method may include receiving data frames from a second wireless communication device. The method may include receiving a block acknowledgement request from the second wireless communication device The method may include sending a block acknowledgement to the second wireless communication device using MU-MIMO.
Abstract:
Embodiments of user equipment and methods for improved uplink transmission power management and scheduling, are generally described herein. For example, in an aspect, a method of uplink power management is presented, the method includes determining whether a total desired transmission power exceeds a total configured maximum output power for a subframe. When the total desired transmission power exceeds the total configured maximum output power, the method includes allocating a minimum proactive power limitation to each serving cell, assigning a remaining power to one or more channels based on priority, and computing a total power assignment based on the allocating and the assigning.
Abstract:
Disclosed embodiments may include an apparatus having one or more processors coupled to one or more computer-readable storage media. The one or more processors may be configured to transmit and/or receive channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource configuration information, demodulation reference signals (DM-RS), uplink sounding reference signals (SRS), and power control parameters to support uplink coordinated multi-point (CoMP) operations. Other embodiments may be disclosed.
Abstract:
Wireless device, method, and computer readable media for channel contention in wireless communication devices. The wireless communication device may include hardware processing circuitry configured to: determine to adapt the channel contention, and configured to adapt the channel contention settings by changing a level of a clear channel assessment (CCA) and adapting at least one additional channel contention setting. The hardware processing circuitry may be configured to adapt the channel contention settings by raising a level of the clear channel assessment (CCA) and by decreasing a power used to transmit, raising a back-off time, or modifying a portion of or parameter to a distributed coordination function (DCF). The hardware processing circuitry may be configured to adapt the channel contention settings by decreasing the clear channel assessment (CCA) and increasing a power used to transmit or decreasing an amount of time to wait after a CCA determines the channel is free.
Abstract:
Generally discussed herein are systems and apparatuses that are configured to determine a transmission power to communicate with and techniques for determining the transmission power. According to an example a technique can include pairing a first UE with a second UE, receiving a reference signal, determining a Signal to Interference Ratio (SIR) of the received reference signal, receiving one or more power control parameters, and determining a decided transmission power as a function of the one or more power control parameters and the SIR.
