Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a load balance method and relevant apparatuses to implement load balance between base stations in a communications network that includes an LTE base station. The method in an embodiment of the present invention includes: obtaining, by a radio resource management RRM server, load information reported by base stations, where the base stations include a Long Term Evolution LTE base station; determining an overloaded base station in the base stations; determining a target base station according to the load information, where the target base station is a base station to share a load of the overloaded base station; and instructing the overloaded base station and the target base station to perform load balance.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a timing value adjustment method and apparatus, which relate to the communications field and reduce a probability that power of a terminal exceeds a limit. A specific solution is that: an absolute timing difference of a timing advance group TAG pair is obtained according to an absolute value of a difference between transmit timing values or receive timing values of the two TAGs in the TAG pair, where the TAG pair is formed by any two TAGs in a TAG set; and it is determined that the absolute timing difference of the TAG pair meets a predetermined condition, and first signaling is sent to a network device, where the first signaling includes identifiers of the two TAGs in the TAG pair. The present invention is used in a timing value adjustment process.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method, a positioning server, a terminal and a base station. The positioning method includes: notifying a terminal of difference threshold information; receiving cell subset information that is determined by the terminal according to the difference threshold information, where the cell subset information is used to indicate a cell pair whose reference signal measured value exceeds the difference threshold, or the cell subset information is used to indicate a cell pair whose reference signal measured value does not exceed the difference threshold; determining a configuration of a PRS according to the cell subset information, and notifying the terminal of the configuration of the PRS; and receiving an RSTD that is obtained by the terminal through measurement according to the configuration of the PRS, and determining a location of the terminal according to the RSTD.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a radio link monitoring method and UE. The radio link monitoring method provided in the embodiments of the present invention includes: monitoring, by user equipment UE, downlink quality of a serving cell on a physical layer by using an extended link monitoring period, where the extended link monitoring period is greater than an original link monitoring period; and sending, by the UE, an in-synchronization indication message or an out-of-synchronization indication message to an upper layer of the UE when a monitoring result satisfies a preset report condition. According to the method in the embodiments of the present invention, power consumption and device costs can be reduced.
Abstract:
An interference cancellation method, data sending method, apparatus, user equipment and base station in a Long Term Evolution system are disclosed. The interference cancellation method includes: obtaining downlink cell-specific power ratio information of a specific cell; performing channel estimation based on a downlink cell-specific reference signal (CRS) of the specific cell, to obtain a channel estimation matrix of a specific physical channel, signal, or message of the specific cell; compensating the channel estimation matrix by using the downlink cell-specific power ratio information; and canceling, in an original signal that is received from a target cell and is interfered by the specific cell, interference caused by the specific cell in a received signal from a specific physical channel, signal, or message. A technical problem in the prior art that a user equipment cannot effectively cancel interference because power transmission strength of a strong interfering cell cannot be correctly estimated is solved.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for positioning a user equipment in a handover process. The method mainly includes: receiving, by a target base station of the user equipment in the handover process, positioning measurement related information of the user equipment transmitted from a source base station of the user equipment; and performing, by the target base station, a positioning measurement for the user equipment according to the positioning measurement related information after the user equipment has accessed the target base station successfully. Embodiments of the present invention enables the target base station to perform positioning measurement for the user equipment immediately after the UE has successfully accesses the target base station, and eliminates the need for a positioning server to retrigger a user equipment positioning process, thus reduces the signaling cost caused by retriggering the user equipment positioning process.
