The present application discloses a DCN processing method for a PLMN that is applied to a network sharing scenario. An access feedback message of a network side is received, and selection assistance information of a DCN and an identifier of a PLMN that serves UE are obtained from the access feedback message, so as to know a PLMN that is actually accessed by the UE. A correspondence between the selection assistance information of the DCN and the identifier of the PLMN that serves the UE is stored. When the UE moves to coverage of the PLMN, a requested DCN to be accessed can be directly determined according to the correspondence, and a RAN node is requested to access the determined DCN. Therefore, a redirection process is reduced, and resource overheads are reduced.
Abstract:
This application discloses a session management method, a network device, and a communications system. According to embodiments of the present invention, an intermediate session management entity is selected based on UE location information and PDU session requirement information. In this way, an intermediate session management entity near UE can provide a service for a PDU session, and a delay of data transmission is reduced. In addition, the intermediate session management entity selects a user plane entity based on the UE location information and the PDU requirement information, and the intermediate session management entity is responsible for managing user plane entities within a specified area, and does not need to manage user plane entities in the entire PDU session, thereby reducing management complexity.

Disclosed is a method for transmitting downlink data, a mobility management network element, an access network device, and a serving gateway. The method includes: receiving a downlink data notification message sent by a serving gateway, where the downlink data notification message includes a category attribute of to-be-transmitted downlink data; acquiring the category attribute, of the to-be-transmitted downlink data, included in the downlink data notification message; and determining, according to the category attribute of the to-be-transmitted downlink data, whether to send a paging message to an access network device. For the method for transmitting downlink data, in a process of transmitting downlink data, establishment of a bearer on an access network side can be controlled, so as to prevent blind establishment of a bearer on the access network side. As such, signaling overheads can be reduced and congestion in data transmission can be mitigated.

A method for reporting radio bearer loss information is provided in an embodiment of this invention. The method comprises: receiving a User Equipment UE Context Release Request message or a Release Access Bearer Request message or an Iu interface release request message all carrying a release cause value; and if the release cause value indicates an abnormal release, reporting radio bearer loss information to a gateway while preserving non-GBR bearers. With the method and apparatus of embodiments of this invention, not only bearer reporting can be realized, but also problems caused by the release of Non-Guaranteed Bandwidth non-GBR bearers can be prevented.

An event monitoring method and apparatus are provided, so that a service capability exposure function or a network exposure function can delete a monitoring event configuration for a group after receiving event reports for all members in the group, thereby avoiding a resource waste and a subsequent policy execution error. The method includes: receiving, by an exposure function entity, a first message, where the first message is used to configure a monitoring event for a user group; obtaining, by the exposure function entity, member information of the user group; and determining, by the exposure function entity based on the member information, that monitoring event reports for all members in the user group are received, and deleting a monitoring event configuration for the user group.

The present application discloses an access method, apparatus, device, and system, and belongs to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving, by a selection function entity SFE, an access request of user equipment UE sent by a radio access network node RAN node; determining a usage type of the UE based on the access request of the UE; and selecting, for the UE based on the usage type of the UE, a node that is in a dedicated core network and that can serve the UE, where the node that is in the dedicated core network and that can serve the UE corresponds to the usage type of the UE. Therefore, a node accessed by the UE is the node in the dedicated core network corresponding to the UE, and this ensures that the node can complete security verification of the UE.

Embodiments of the present application provide a service node selection and query method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving a request message sent by UE; obtaining a usage type and selection assistance information of the UE based on the request message, where the selection assistance information includes at least one of a dedicated network type or service attribute information; and then determining, based on the usage type and the selection assistance information that are obtained, a service node that serves the UE. The service node selected in this manner is a service node that supports the dedicated network type of the UE and can meet a service requested by the UE this time, so that service success of the UE can be ensured.
