Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a laser measurement system and a laser radar. In one aspect, a laser measurement system includes N laser ranging components, a reflector, and MEMS micromirror. The N laser ranging components can emit an emergent light beam onto the reflector. The reflector can perform optical path reflecting on the emergent light beam and emit the reflected emergent light beam onto the MEMS micromirror. The MEMS micromirror can change a direction of the emergent light beam to implement two-dimensional scanning, change a direction of an echo light beam, and emit this beam onto the reflector. The reflector can perform optical path reflecting on the echo light beam and emit this beam onto the N laser ranging components. The N laser ranging components can receive the echo light beam and perform ranging based on a time difference between the emergent light beam and the echo light beam.

Abstract: An optical receiver is disclosed, including an optoelectronic detector, a transimpedance amplification (TIA) circuit, a single-ended-to-differential converter, an I/O interface, and a controller. The optoelectronic detector, having bandwidth lower than required system transmission bandwidth, converts an optical signal into a current signal. The TIA circuit compensate gain for the received current signal based on a received control signal, to obtain a voltage signal, where a frequency response value of the current signal within first bandwidth is greater than that within the bandwidth of the optoelectronic detector, and any frequency in the first bandwidth is not lower than an upper cut-off frequency of the optoelectronic detector. The single-ended-to-differential converter converts the voltage signal into a differential voltage signal. The I/O interface outputs the differential voltage signal. The controller generates the control signal based on the differential voltage signal. The optical receiver disclosed can reduce costs while ensuring signal quality.

Abstract: A reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer includes N input ports, N output ports, M add ports and M drop ports. Abstract: An optical coupling apparatus and method are described. An embodiment of an optical coupling apparatus may include a first optical chip, a second optical chip, and an optical writing waveguide block. In the apparatus, the first optical chip is coupled to the optical writing waveguide block in a first coupling manner, and the second optical chip is coupled to the optical writing waveguide block in a second coupling manner. Furthermore, in the apparatus, the first optical chip is optically interconnected to the second optical chip by using the optical writing waveguide block. Compatibility between a plurality of coupling manners is therefore enabled by using the technical solutions described herein.

Abstract: A signal compensation method and device, where the method includes receiving a signal sequence suffering from intersymbol interference (ISI), setting a first filtering coefficient to perform filter compensation on the received signal sequence to obtain a first compensation signal sequence, setting a balance filtering coefficient to perform filter compensation on the first compensation signal sequence to obtain a balance compensation result, where the balance filtering coefficient is obtained by adjusting, according to a first compensation error, a balance filtering coefficient set last time, performing sequence estimation on the balance compensation result and outputting the balance compensation result, where the first compensation error adjusts the balance filtering coefficient set to perform filter compensation on the first compensation signal sequence in an iterative manner, thereby effectively compensating for the signal sequence suffering from the ISI, and improving performance of an optical fiber communications system.

Abstract: A laser includes a substrate and a resonant cavity. In addition to an active gain region, a first phase shift region, an optical branching region, and N reflective mode selection regions, the resonant cavity further includes a highly reflective surface, where a reflectivity of the highly reflective surface is greater than reflectivities of the N reflective mode selection regions, so that laser beams are output from the N reflective mode selection regions. Because the laser naturally includes at least two reflective mode selection regions, at least two laser beams are output. According to the laser provided by the embodiments of the present invention, one laser can output two laser beams or even multiple laser beams; therefore, laser beam generation efficiency is high and average costs for generating a single laser beam are accordingly reduced.

Abstract: A signal generating method and apparatus in the field of signal technologies are provided. The method includes: adjusting an incident angle of an optical signal entering a polarization beam splitter, so that the polarization beam splitter outputs a first optical signal and a second optical signal that have a preset power ratio; performing QPSK modulation on the first and second optical signal respectively by using a first and second externally input data streams, to obtain a first and a second QPSK optical signal; before the first QPSK optical signal and the second QPSK optical signal are input into a polarization beam combiner, adjusting a polarization state of the first or the second QPSK optical signal; when the polarization states of the two QPSK optical signals are the same, outputting a 16QAM signal; and when the polarization states of the two QPSK optical signals are orthogonal, outputting a DP-QPSK signal.
