    Abstract: The present invention discloses a vehicle. The vehicle includes an AC electric machine configured to generate traction driving force, a DC bus configured to provide a DC voltage, an inverter, and a controller. The inverter is coupled with the DC bus and configured to convert the DC voltage from the DC bus to an AC voltage to drive the AC electric machine, and the inverter includes a plurality of transistors. The controller is configured to control the inverter to maintain the vehicle to run in a fault-tolerant mode when an open circuit fault occurs in one of the transistors in the inverter during running of the vehicle. The present invention further discloses a control method of the vehicle and a system.

    Abstract: A propulsion system includes a traction drive system, a boost converter, an energy-type energy source, a power-type energy source, and an energy management system. The boost converter includes a high voltage side and a low voltage side. The boost converter is coupled to the traction drive system on the high voltage side. The energy-type energy source is coupled to the boost converter on the low voltage side thereof. The power-type energy source is coupled to the boost converter on the low voltage side thereof. The energy management system is coupled to the boost converter and configured to control the energy-type energy source and the power-type energy source through the boost converter in at least two conditions during a motoring mode.

    Abstract: A switching component comprising a number of switch sets in parallel is disclosed herein. Each switch set comprises a number of power switches and a backup power switch in series. The backup power switch has a default position of closed. Rated powers of the power switches and the backup power switch are less than a rated power of the switching component, and the switching component is modular. A switch system comprising the switching component is also described herein.
