Abstract:
A Femtocell Access Point (FAP) is used to provision a ticket number service. Customers approach the FAP and are given a ticket number indicating their place in the queue through an SMS message. Follow up SMS messages are sent updating the customer of their current position in line, as well as when it is their turn. Statistics may be generated from information gathered at the FAP and sent to an external client module.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for identifying a caller who does not provide caller identification on an unanswered call. The caller is asked to record his/her name (or some other characteristic utterance). If the call is unanswered, the record is retained and can be accessed by the called party when that party requests his/her stored voice mail. Advantageously, even on unanswered calls, the identity of the caller can be presented to the called party when that called party requests stored voice mail messages, even if the calling party has private service.
Abstract:
A Doherty power amplifier is provided that includes a main amplifier device and an auxiliary amplifier device. The Doherty power amplifier further includes a phase compensation network. The phase compensation network is configured to maintain a substantially constant phase of one of an output signal from the main amplifier device or an output signal from the auxiliary amplifier device across a range of input powers. The Doherty power amplifier further includes an impedance inverter for power combining an output signal of the main amplifier device with an output signal of the auxiliary amplifier device.
Abstract:
A method for a carrier phase recovery apparatus in a multiple-link hopping radio system includes hopping among a plurality of radio links to receive bursts of radio signals on the plurality of radio links and determining channel information for each radio link from a received burst on the radio link. Further, the method includes storing the determined channel information and using the determined channel information for the radio link to reliably recover the carrier phase of a next received burst on the radio link.
Abstract:
A Doherty amplifier that includes a main amplifier device and an auxiliary amplifier device. The main amplifier device includes a plurality of independently controllable amplifier segments. The system further includes a coupler for coupling an input signal to each of the main amplifier device and the auxiliary amplifier device. The system further includes an impedance inverter for power combining an output signal of the main amplifier device with an output signal of the auxiliary amplifier device.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are methods of treating moderate to severe eosinophilic asthma in a patient comprising administering a therapeutically effective dose of reslizumab to a patient whose symptoms are inadequately controlled with a current asthma therapeutic and wherein the patient's blood eosinophil levels are equal to or greater than 400/μL.

Abstract:
Wire bond pad and solder ball or controlled collapse chip connections C4 are combined on a planar surface of a an integrated circuit device to provide a die. Known good die (KGD) testing is optionally performed using wire bond connections or stress tolerant solder ball connections. The KGD testing is conducted after the integrated circuit dies are diced from a wafer. Solder ball or C4 array connections which withstand thermal stress are used to KGD test the die prior to final use of the wire bond pad connections to an end use device. Alternatively, wire bond pads are used to test the die while maintaining the solder ball or C4 array in a pristine condition for bonding to a final end product device. Both testing with the solder ball C4 array contacts and with the wire bond connections provides metallurgical connections for the KGD test. The solder ball or C4 array is connected to the wire bond pads and either connection can be used to burn-in test the die.
Abstract:
A SWP- (Sub-Word Parallelism-) based RAKE receiver for a Wideband Code-Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) mobile station is optimized to perform channel de-rotation and data combining. The RAKE receiver comprises SIMD (Single Instruction, Multiple Data) instructions, which can perform a complex multiplication for a channel de-rotation in a single cycle. The SIMD instructions can also perform a complex addition for data combining in a single cycle. Optimization of the RAKE receiver reduces power consumption and costs, enhances performance, and provides extensibility for next-generation architectures.
