Abstract: Provided herein is a multi-channel optical module including a plurality of laser diodes emitting light with different wavelengths, a thermoelectric cooling device including the plurality of laser diodes, a TO-can including the thermoelectric cooling device, and a holder combined with the TO-can and including a plurality of optical lenses focusing the light with different wavelengths and a multiplexer gathering focused light into a single optical fiber, wherein the holder has a shape in which the TO-can is cut along an axis of a path of the light with different wavelengths for active alignment of the plurality of optical lenses.

The optical alignment device includes an element fixing case with a mounting space formed thereinside and an element insertion hole communicating with the mounting space formed at an upper side thereof, and a light source mounted in the mounting space of the element fixing case and configured to emit light toward a lower side of an optical element or an optical waveguide element which is inserted into the element insertion hole to check a position of a core.

Abstract: Provided are a multi-channel optical subassembly structure allowing an optical unit including a light source photodetector chip to be fixed through an alignment jig after active alignment is performed on an individual or single light source photodetector chip by using the alignment jig capable of electrical coupling and one electrode pad and the other electrode pad of a thermoelectric element, which are wire-bonded, capable of performing active alignment for each light source photodetector chip, that is, for each channel, capable of replacing the optical unit and the alignment jig when a problem occurs in some or all channels, capable of improving optical coupling efficiency for each channel, and capable of addressing a time-consuming and economically expensive work in which an optical subassembly is discarded when some channels fail, and a method of packaging the structure.

Abstract: Provided is a multi-channel optical module device. The optical module device includes: a light source unit configured to include a plurality of laser diodes that are capable of wavelength modulation according to current; a beam splitter unit configured to include a plurality of beam splitters that have different reflectivity and transmissivity and reflect or transmit light output from each laser diode of the light source unit to output them in a first direction or a second direction; and an optical coupler configured to couple and output the light from the beam splitter unit. Center wavelengths of the laser diodes of the light source unit are different from each other, and the number of output channels varies according to the number of laser diodes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-wavelength transmission apparatus including a wavelength divider to divide an optical signal by wavelength and output wavelength-divided optical signals to different positions, the optical signal being received from an optical circulator, a first cylindrical lens to diverge the wavelength-divided optical signals along an X axis and a Y axis and allow the wavelength-divided optical signals to be promoted in a Z-direction, a second cylindrical lens to diverge optical signals output from the first cylindrical lens along the X axis and the Y axis and allow the output optical signals to be promoted in the Z-direction, and a reflector to reflect optical signals output from the second cylindrical lens toward the second cylindrical lens, the first cylindrical lens being identical in shape to the second cylindrical lens and rotated by 90° in an Y-axial direction based on the second cylindrical lens.
