Abstract:
A three wheeled carriage supports an air compressor, a container for reflective glass beads and a primary hose enclosing secondary hoses delivering plural paint components to a spray gun. The three wheeled carriage has a handle bar operable by one person with three switches, one to control the flow of reflective glass beads to a bead spray gun, another to control the flow of paint components to form a stripe by external mix of the paint components and a third to control an angle of turn for a front wheel. A trailer follows the three wheeled carriage, the trailer containing an air compressor and receptacles for two paint components and input into the secondary hoses. Wheeled dollies support the primary hose between the trailer and the three wheeled carriage.
Abstract:
A process of preparing a Group IV, V, or VI metal carbonitride including reacting a Group IV, V, or VI metal amide complex with ammonia to obtain an intermediate product; and, heating the intermediate product to temperatures and for times sufficient to form a Group IV, V, or VI metal carbonitride is provided together with the product of the process and a process of reforming an n-alkane by use of the product.
Abstract:
A plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition process for depositing a titanium nitride film on a polymeric substrate is provided, the process including placing the polymeric substrate within a chemical vapor deposition chamber evacuated to a pressure within a range of from about 0.1 Torr to about 10 Torr, heating the polymeric substrate to a temperature within a range of from about 150.degree. C. to about 250.degree. C., introducing a vaporized organometallic compound and ammonia gas into the chamber, generating a plasma within the chamber, and, maintaining the polymeric substrate within the chamber for a time sufficient for a layer of titanium nitride to deposit upon the polymeric substrate.
Abstract:
A stretching frame for a fabric material provides for spring mounting of the four frame sides. The frame sides are tubular. At each corner of the frame is a bracket which slides within the adjacent frame tubes. A tensioning device at each end of each of the frame sides may be set to provide an appropriate urging force by tensioning a spring. Each side has a slot for insertion of the fabric edge and a locking rod to hold the fabric edge in place within the slot. The frame may be used for a range of fabric sizes by changing spring length or characteristic used for tension development. In use as a silk-screen, the side forces applied to the fabric during the printing stroke is taken up by the springs such that a minimal amount of distortion is experienced by the fabric and stencil thereon.
Abstract:
A shielded substrate is disclosed which has a randomly oriented, non-linear conductive pattern formed on at least one surface of the substrate. The conductive pattern provides excellent EMI/RFI shielding and visual opacity properties without generating moire' patterns. The conductive pattern is formed of a series of interconnecting non-linear, conductive elements, such as circles, ovals, ellipses and polygonal shapes. The conductive substrate may be formed through the use of photolithography process.
Abstract:
A routing method implemented in the stored programs of a digital computer ich is programmably operated to generate the wire interconnect masks for a two level metallization automated universal array having undefined roadbeds between rows of cells comprised of identical semiconductor device basic units which are further interconnected to provide a particular integrated circuit structure. Conductor routing is provided by a computer aided design system that, among other things, carries out a route analysis process which determines in which roadbed each wire should be tentatively routed in conjunction with generating a routing density profile for minimizing congestion for a particular circuit design and when the roadbed density is exceeded, certain wires are removed under a set of criteria for routing by a pathfinder routing process. Following route analysis, detailed routing and rerouting is performed sequentially by a direct routing process, a greedy channel routing process, and a pathfinder routing process with rerouting being performed after each channel router and pathfinding process. Furthermore, the greedy channel routing process makes a single pass from left to right in all wires which cross successive points simultaneously and, if necessary, deleting a wire or wires which are then rerouted by the pathfinding process.
Abstract:
Coupling of a CW laser beam to a reflective surface is enhanced by a plasma that is confined to the surface region by a transverse gaseous flow.
Abstract:
A clamping device for mounting a sink to a counter includes a clamp having a clamp body and a binding spring of a flat-profile, bending type (“bending spring”), a binding lip for insertion through a first slot in the bottom surface of the countertop adjacent to the sink, the clamp and binding lip connected to the clamp body and extending away therefrom at least partially over an edge of the sink, and a clamp screw for insertion through a first opening in the clamp body and against a flange of the sink. The clamp screw may be covered by a screw cap, and a solid portion of the binding spring may be disposed between the clamp screw and the sink flange, or an opening in the binding spring may permit the clamp screw to press directly against the sink flange.
Abstract:
A device for holding objects such as key rings, security cameras, and the like to the corner of a pair of walls. The device is a mount having a pair of bodies each having magnets and attachment features. The device also includes connectors which can be used to connect mounts together and object supports which can be attached in multiple ways.
