摘要: A work vehicle includes a torque converter having a lock up clutch and a controller that conditionally allows operation of the lock up clutch in a locked position or an unlocked position. The controller determines a plurality of active work vehicle parameters during operation of the work vehicle and includes a plurality of ready to dig parameters. The controller determines a ready to dig condition or a non-digging condition of the work vehicle by comparing at least two of the active work vehicle parameters to at least two corresponding ready to dig parameters. The controller disallows operation of the lock up clutch in the locked position in response to the ready to dig condition, allows operation of the lock up clutch in locked or unlocked positions in response to a non-digging condition. Operation of the lock up clutch avoids the engine from stalling in a ready to dig condition.

摘要: An implement vibration system and method is disclosed that includes a vibration activation device; an electrohydraulic mechanism and a controller. The controller monitors the vibration activation device and sends movement signals to the electrohydraulic mechanism to control implement movement. When the vibration activation device is activated, the controller sends vibration signals to the electrohydraulic mechanism to cause the implement to vibrate. An operator control can send implement commands where the movement signals are based on the implement commands, and when vibration is activated the controller can superimpose the vibration signals on the movement signals. The vibration signals can cause a hydraulic cylinder to repeatedly extend and retract. An electrohydraulic control valve can receive the movement signals and control hydraulic flow to the hydraulic cylinder based on the movement signals. The vibration signals can be complementary signals. The amplitude and/or frequency of the vibration signals can be adjustable.

摘要: A work machine having a cab coupled to a frame, a steering system coupled to the frame, a controller configured to selectively articulate the steering system, a joystick assembly positioned in the cab and in communication with the controller, a steering wheel assembly positioned in the cab and configured to selectively articulate the steering system, and a steering wheel sensor coupled to the steering wheel assembly and in communication with the controller to identify movement of the steering wheel assembly. Wherein, the controller does not articulate the steering system responsive to movement of the joystick assembly when the steering wheel sensor identifies movement of the steering wheel.

摘要: A work machine includes a mechanical arm. A work implement is coupled to the mechanical arm to receive a load. A hydraulic actuator moves the arm between a lower position and an upper position, wherein a distance between the lower position and the upper position is a travel distance of the mechanical arm. A sensor unit is configured to sense the load in the work implement. A valve is in fluid communication with the hydraulic actuator for supplying a fluid output to the hydraulic actuator. A controller is in communication with the valve and the sensor unit. The controller is configured to transmit a control signal to the valve to adjust the fluid output to the hydraulic actuator. The controller is also configured to adjust the upper position to reduce the travel distance in response to the load being at or above a threshold value.

摘要: The present disclosure includes a system for improving the perceived ease of operation in a work vehicle with an internal combustion engine. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the system comprises a torque converter coupled at one end to the internal combustion engine and is coupled to a transmission at an opposite end via at least a transmission input shaft. The system also comprises at least two governors coupled to the internal combustion engine, wherein the governors are configured to adjust an operating parameter of the internal combustion engine. In addition, the system comprises a vehicle control unit communicatively coupled to the governors wherein the vehicle control unit is configured to receive a first and a second speed signal. This vehicle control unit commands the engine control unit to enable to at least one of the governors when a ratio of the first speed signal to the second speed signal exceeds a first predetermined threshold.

During operation the load on a work implement is detected and it is determined if the load is at or above a threshold value. A derated fluid output is determined if the load is at or above the threshold value. A control signal is output to the valve based on the derated fluid output. During calibration the pressure in a hydraulic cylinder is detected at one or more locations as a mechanical arm moves between a lower position and an upper position. One or more baseline values are established for the mechanical arm between the lower position and the upper position.

摘要: The present disclosure includes a system for improving the perceived ease of operation in a work vehicle with an internal combustion engine. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the system comprises a torque converter coupled at one end to the internal combustion engine and is coupled to a transmission at an opposite end via at least a transmission input shaft. The system also comprises at least two governors coupled to the internal combustion engine, wherein the governors are configured to adjust an operating parameter of the internal combustion engine. In addition, the system comprises a vehicle control unit communicatively coupled to the governors wherein the vehicle control unit is configured to receive a first and a second speed signal. This vehicle control unit commands the engine control unit to enable to at least one of the governors when a ratio of the first speed signal to the second speed signal exceeds a first predetermined threshold.
