    Abstract: An air-conditioning includes a blower, a unit casing, an upstream partition, and a fan partition. The blower includes a centrifugal fan and a fan casing. The unit casing defines an upstream passage at a position upstream of the blower. The upstream partition is fixed to the unit casing to divide the upstream passage into a first upstream passage through which a first gas flows and a second upstream passage through which a second gas flows. The fan partition is fixed to the fan casing to divide an inner space of the fan into a first fan passage through which the first gas flows and a second fan passage through which the second gas flows. The unit casing defines an opening and includes a cover that closes the opening. The opening has an opening area such that the blower is removable from the unit casing through the opening.

    Abstract: An opening and closing device includes a casing that defines an air passage, a slide door that includes a door main body slidable to open or close the air passage, and a sliding gear that is disposed on one side of the door main body in its width direction and includes first teeth in a sliding direction, and a drive gear that is rotatable around its axis line extending in the width direction and that includes second teeth in a circumferential direction around the axis line such that the first teeth and the second teeth are arranged in engagement with each other. When the drive gear rotates, a driving force is transmitted from the drive gear to the slide door through the sliding gear to slide the slide door. The door main body is restricted from shifting in the width direction due to the rotation of the drive gear.

    Abstract: A heater core is disposed to be inclined with respect to an airflow direction so that a first header tank unit is displaced downstream of a second header tank unit in the airflow direction. Therefore, when a first air mixing door blocks a first heating portion, an air stagnates between a downstream lateral portion of the first heating portion and a second partition wall downstream of the first heating portion, and the air is unlikely to be heated downstream of the first heating portion. Likewise, the air is unlikely to be heated upstream of a second heating portion in a second airflow passage. Therefore, a maximum cooling performance of a vehicle air conditioning unit can be restrained from being deteriorated due to a heat from a heater core.

    Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing accommodating a plurality of batteries and a blower. A control unit manages the temperature of the batteries according to the battery temperature provided by a temperature detector. When the battery temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined cooling required temperature, the control unit executes a cooling mode of operating the blower to cool the batteries.     Abstract: An air conditioning device for a vehicle has an air-conditioning case, a heater core, a first air mix door, a second air mix door, and an actuator. The air-conditioning case therein has a first air passage and a second air passage. The first air mix door and the second air mix door are arranged in the first air passage and the second air passage respectively, and adjust a ratio between a flow rate of air passing through the heater core and a flow rate of air bypassing the heater core by an opening/closing operation. The actuator interlocks the opening/closing operations of the first air mix door and the second air mix door such that opening degrees of the first air mix door and the second air mix door are different from each other.
