Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backlight device and a display apparatus. The backlight device includes: a light guide plate having a light exit face and a light entrance face, and a plurality of light extraction structures disposed on the light exit face. A light beam is totally reflected in the light guide plate, and can enter the light extraction structure through a surface of the light extraction structure that is in contact with the light exit surface of the light guide plate. The light extraction structure is configured to converge its output light beam when the backlight device is used in a dark display state, and diverge its output light beam when the backlight device is used in the grayscale display state.

Abstract: A light collimation device, a backlight module and a display panel are provided. The light collimation device includes a lampshade and a light guiding part, wherein the lampshade includes a plurality of curved reflecting parts, a first total reflecting part and a second total reflecting part. The curved reflecting part is configured to reflect part of light from a light source arranged at a focal point of curved reflecting part to the first total reflecting part. The first total reflecting part is configured to reflect part of incident light to the second total reflecting part and directly direct another part of light to the light guiding part. The second total reflecting part is configured to reflect incident light to the light guiding part. The light guiding part is configured to cause incident light to propagate in a total reflection.

Abstract: An integrated imaging display system is provided. The system includes: a display device, and a polarization converting element, an optical path folding element, and a micro-lens array provided on a light emitting side of the display device. The polarization converting element is configured to convert light emitted from the display device into first linearly polarized light in a first polarization state and second linearly polarized light in a second polarization state; and the micro-lens array is configured to form a first three-dimensional display image in a first depth-of-field range based on the first linearly polarized light and form a second three-dimensional display image in a second depth-of-field range based on the second linearly polarized light. Two depth-of-field ranges in the imaging space of the system may be formed, which enlarges the depth-of-field range of the imaging space.

Abstract: An optical system includes at least one first display module, at least one second display module, and a first optical element. The first optical element includes a first light incident surface, a second light incident surface, and a viewing surface. The second light incident surface is configured to transmit imaging light emitted from the at least one second display module into the first optical element and refract it onto the viewing surface, and reflect the imaging light transmitted into the first optical element through the first light incident surface onto the viewing surface. The viewing surface is configured to transmit the imaging light emitted from all display modules to a human eye.

Abstract: Provided are a display device and a driving method therefor. Each pixel island in a display panel is divided into a plurality of sub-pixel subdivision units, different monocular viewpoint images are formed by rendering different grayscales for different sub-pixel subdivision units, and a main lobe angle of each lens is adjusted to satisfy that the monocular viewpoint images displayed by the sub-pixel subdivision units in a pixel island are projected to a corresponding independent visible region respectively through different lenses to form a viewpoint, so as to satisfy conditions for achieving super-multi-viewpoint 3D display.
