    Abstract: An oil-resistant rubber composition comprising (A) 90 to 10 parts by weight of an unsaturated nitrile-conjugated diene rubber having a .DELTA.Tg of 58.degree. C. or more and an average bound nitrile content of 15 to 50% by weight, (B) 10 to 90 parts by weight of at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-propylene type copolymer rubber, a natural rubber and a polyisoprene and (C) 0 to 50 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the total of (A) and (B), of at least one component (C) selected from the group consisting of a styrene polymer and a polyalkenamer. Said rubber composition is oil-resistant and excellent in mechanical properties such as tear strength, resistance to crack growth, etc.

    Abstract: A solid-liquid separator prevents wear of a self-priming liquid pump connected to a cyclone mechanism and a solid-liquid mixture can be purified at low cost. The separator separates sludge in the liquid by a cyclone in a separation portion directly or indirectly connected to a suction of the upstream side of the pump. The separation portion has a first and second cyclones with the first cyclone disposed in said second cyclone coaxially. A tank disposed under the cyclones collects separated from the liquid.

    Abstract: A liquid pump has a sealing mechanism utilizing magnets. The sealing mechanism includes an annular rotating seal attached to the lower surface of a rotary base member fixed to the motor rotating shaft. Additionally, a flexible stationary seal is joined and separated with respect to the rotating seal. Movable magnets are disposed on the rotary base and are adapted to be displaced by centrifugal force due to a rotation of the rotary base member. A stationary magnet is disposed on the upper-surface side of a vertical sliding member to which the flexible stationary seal is fixed. The flexible stationary seal utilized has a cylindrical body. At the upper and lower end portions and the side surface portion, connecting portions to the stationary and movable members are formed. The middle portion has an elastic portion is formed on it.

    Abstract: According to the package board of the present invention, each soldering pad formed on the top surface of the package board, on which an IC chip is to be mounted, is small (133 to 170 &mgr;m in diameter), so the metallic portion occupied by the soldering pads on the surface of the package board is also small.     Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus for adjusting the direction and quantity of air comprises a duct device forming an air passage passing through the duct device, and an airflow adjusting device.     Abstract: In a magnetic pole direction detection device, a magnetic pole direction calculation unit calculates a magnetic pole direction of a detecting target magnet based on detection signals output from a magnetic detection unit that detects a change in a magnetic field generated by rotation of the detecting target magnet by a magneto-resistive element including a magnetization fixed layer and a free layer and outputs detection signals having different phases. A direction correction amount calculation unit calculates a direction correction amount for correcting an error, which is caused by a magnetization direction deviation of the magnetization fixed layer generated by action of the magnetic field of the detecting target magnet and is included in the calculated magnetic pole direction. A magnetic pole direction correction unit that corrects the calculated magnetic pole direction by using the calculated direction correction amount.
