    摘要: An array substrate includes a display region having a plurality of pixel parts and a peripheral region surrounding the display region. The array substrate also includes a switching element, a pixel element, a metal pattern, a pixel electrode pattern and an alignment layer. The switching element is in each of the pixel parts. The switching element is electrically connected to gate and source lines. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the switching element. The metal pattern part is in the peripheral region. The pixel electrode pattern part is on the metal pattern part. The alignment layer is on the pixel electrode and the pixel electrode pattern part. Therefore, the array substrate may be securely combined with an alignment substrate to improve an impact resistance of a display device.

A pull-down part receives a next gate signal to discharge the present gate signal to a source power voltage. A pull-up driving part is connected to control terminals of the carry part and pull-up part (Q-node) to turn the carry part and pull-up part on and off. A floating preventing part prevents an output terminal of the carry part from being floated in response to the first clock during a second period within the one frame.

    摘要: In a driving unit (e.g., a gate driving unit) and a flat panel display apparatus having the driving unit, a circuit portion of the driving unit includes a plurality of driving stages cascade-connected to one another and outputs a (gate) driver signal (a plurality of gate-driving signals) based on a plurality of control signals. The line portion comprises a first signal line and a second signal line, each of which transmits control signals from the outside, and a first connection line connecting the first signal line to the driving stages, and a second connection line connecting the second signal line to the driving stages. The second signal line is positioned at a different (metallization) layer from the first signal line and the first and second connection lines. Therefore, malfunctioning of the driving unit caused by corrosion may be prevented.
