摘要: A primary object of the present invention is to provide a surface light source device attaining a homogenous luminance distribution on a light emitting surface of a light guiding plate in which a dot light source having a high directivity of emitted light is employed. The device includes: a light guiding plate 5 including a plurality of primary holes in such a manner as to locate each dot light source 3 inside; and dot printing 7a being employed as an auxiliary light source means which diffuses light from the dot light source 3 to the position between dot light sources 3 being adjacent to each other, wherein the dot printing 7 is provided at a base of the light guiding plate 5 and a middle point of the connected dot light sources 3 being adjacent to each other.

摘要: Dental products such as toothpastes, mouthwash and dental floss are disclosed which products are enhanced by having dissolved, dispersed or coated thereon a compound which promoted bone growth. Preferred compounds are peptide sequences comprising 10 to 50 amino acids are disclosed. The sequences are characterized by containing an integrin binding motif such as RGD sequence and the remainder of amino acids contiguous with the RGD sequence in matrix extracellular phosphoglycoprotein. The sequences may be formulated for dispersed in toothpaste or a mouthwash and administered to enhance bone/tooth growth. When the dental products are used repeatedly over time they enhance good dental health.

摘要: To obtain a planar light source which is free from brightness variations or chromaticity variations by using a point light source having a high directivity for emitted light, and to provide a liquid crystal display device capable of obtaining superior display characteristics by using this planar light source device. A planar light source device having an opening in the upper surface comprises a hollow box, a diffusion plate disposed in the opening, a reflecting plate disposed on the bottom of the hollow region of the box, and a plurality of point light sources disposed in a row along at least one side surface of the box. This planar light sources device is characterized by including a refracting element disposed parallel to the row of point light sources and between the point light sources and the hollow region for refracting the light from the point light sources, whereby the light at an incident angle at which the brightness is greatest in the luminous intensity distribution of the light radiated to the irradiation subject surface of the refracting element is refracted to the bottom surface of the box by the refracting element.

摘要: Each point light source includes an overhang projecting perpendicularly to a light emitting surface from one side of the light emitting surface, and the overhang has its main surface made in contact with a light outgoing surface of a light guide plate with the light emitting surface facing a light incident surface of the light guide plate. Engagement of the overhang with the light outgoing surface of the light guide plate prevents a displacement of the light emitting surface of the point light source and the light incident surface of the light guide plate even when the light guide plate suffers from deformation such as warpage. Even if a displacement occurs, the presence of the overhang reflects leaked light to guide it to the light incident surface of the light guide plate.

摘要: Peptide sequences comprising 10 to 50 amino acids are disclosed. The sequences are characterized by containing at least one of an integrin binding motif such as an RGD sequence, a glycosaminoglycan binding motif, and a calcium binding motif, and the remainder of amino acids contiguous with the RGD sequence in matrix extracellular phosphoglycoprotein. The sequences may be formulated for injection or dispersed in toothpaste or a mouthwash or gum patch and administered to enhance bone/tooth growth and/or reduce excessive urinary phosphate loss from the body.

摘要: A dichroic mirror for reflecting red light for optical separating and a dichroic mirror for reflecting red light for optical synthesizing are installed on the same plane in an image generating apparatus of the present invention. In addition, a dichroic mirror for reflecting blue light for optical separating and a dichroic mirror for reflecting blue light for optical synthesizing are installed on the same plane. Accordingly, a compact configuration can be realized. Since a main reflecting mirror is a rotating elliptic mirror and a lamp is located on a focus or around the focus, a lighting equipment which irradiates conic luminous flux can be realized.

Undifferentiated osteoblasts obtained from alveolar bone, particularly those obtained by being cultured after the enzyme treatment of alveolar bone have a remarkable bone tissue regenerative capacity, and are therefore useful for a cell preparation for bone tissue regeneration.
